I don't live in a place where parking is an issue, so I never had to learn "fancy parking" for my driver's test. But I want to learn reverse parking because I've heard it's much safer than head-in parking.
Now, I only wish I had this guy's sick parking skills.

After wanting to go for months, I drove up to Fishers to try Topgolf this afternoon.
Was very fun. Not sure if I'll do it often enough to take a private lesson or two. But I'm definitely getting a pair of gloves before going back.
Tomorrow, I have a driving exam. If I pass, I get my license!
COVID-19 pandemic delayed my driver's ed lol. I am going to be 19 in July and just have my license. It feels weird.

Well, after 15 months, hard drive space on my Vanquish III finally became an issue. Solving this problem opened my eyes on how insane game file sizes have become. Clearly, it has to be either video or audio.
Witcher 3, right now the best looking game I have ever played, comes in at a respectable 9.7 GB at the base version. With all pieces of DLC, it still is impressive at 38.8 GB.
I added a picture of the Cosmic Lotus with warp drive modifications to the end of the "Going Home" chapter, but it's likely that some readers never saw it due to reading the story before I put the picture up. As I want EquesTRON to get full credit and thanks for supplying the art, I'm reposting the pic here.
I've been driving for just about a year now, and in that short time, I've encountered many a dumbass on the road. This is a given, and with almost 125,000 cars registered in Ireland as of December 2015, it's inevitable that you're going to run into some eejits here and there. But still, they have a way of getting to you, don't they?
I... had a bit of a close call today... or yesterday, technically, but whatever. Dad and I were driving home, and we were about to pass through this intersection that didn't have any Stop or Yield signs. I saw this SUV passing through, but I assumed that Dad was already aware of it and didn't say anything. He wasn't, and he just kept on going---and he almost ending up T-boning the other car. As it was, he just barely managed to put on the brakes in time to prevent an accident.
Well, one of many soon to occur. I passed my driver's exam!
Because our state decided they would extend their lockdown rules a bit longer, I no longer have to take the multi-hour drive with the instructor beside me. Literally all I had to do was park forward, park backward, and do a three-point-turn, and a couple of turns and stops.
So yep, I passed my driving exam, and I'm now waiting for the license, should take about two weeks^^ Ugh, finally, everybody will stop bother me about it... actually, passed it a few days ago, but had been too busy to sit down and write a blog post. Anyway, just thought I would share it with you 
So as I've stated through several blogs, I attended BronyCon over the weekend. Normally, I would have posted a wrap-up blog the day I got back, but something very terrible happened in real life that had to take precedent. More info on both below.
Gotta love it when the retention spring on 40+ year old hardware has been sitting for so long that it's lost its springiness. I tried bending the thing into a shape that'd let it work again, but the wire itself that the spring's made from is so degraded that the whole spring looks like it's a gust of wind away from disintegrating. I can't find any replacement torsion spring small enough to replace it, so I might just go with mutilating a paper clip until it's the right shape. :P
So, I only had around 2,000 words left for NaNoWriMo, and I was going to finish today. When I plugged my flash drive in, it broke in half. All of my stories for Fimfic, 3 other stories I was working on for Fanfic everything. Gone. 
In the middle of writing up the fifth installment of the Shimmering Sunset Arc (which tackles the first EQG movie) and I just realized I have two names to pick between for the next arc, which will tackle Rainbow Rocks.
The first is, obviously, Rocking Rainbow, but I'm also considering going with a tradition and naming the arcs after antagonists, so Dazzling Adagio could be one...
So I got my drivers license finally. I so nervous that the examiner never saw somebody sweat so much as I did.
Im gonna pass out cause I was awake all night from being so nervous. Here's hoping I'm not actually dreaming only to wake up and realize I haven't taken the drivers test

And so, this chapter of my life is finally fucking finished. It was a really shit journey the entire way... took me a year plus just t'fuckin' complete it. Can't say I'm sad to see it over with, bitch was yelling in my ear nonstop forever now just t'git'er'dun.
