Sorry to say I haven't been writing as much as I should. Writing is hard. I constantly feel unsatisfied with what I write... So I made a mod for a game instead. Its not much yet but with the help of friends. Its getting somewhere.
Welp, took three weeks, but I'm finally done... With the first era... Basics.
Thankfully this is just a hobby, otherwise I'd be despairing right now.
Not much to report, but progress has been made. Primarily sprites and the like, replacing placeholders like this huge pink abomination leading Equestria's finest and statting/equipping unit types.
As well as tuning game-mechanic ideas and redoing other parts of the mod to improve meshing.

This is a small update.
Reduced the ranges of muskets, Rifles and magic bolts
grenadiers and heavy grenadiers now have some fire resistance.
Stonebreakers have increased strength

Might be because my expectations were so low, but I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.
It’s not great–I think my initial big problems is that the first third or so moves way too fast and I wasn’t really impressed by the final dino battle–but overall I had more fun with it than I thought I would.
And I'm still here, still writing, hang in there everyone!

I'd like to apologize to some friends for disappearing the last few days. But I had my muse strike and strike hard. The subject? Not one of my regular stories, but instead, the second book of my anthro adult novel series which I'd been neglecting for the past two years. Hey, folks. Just a quick note (okay, not-so-quick) to let everyone know that the next chapter of Midnight Rising launches this evening, following one more editing pass. Prereader response is generally good so far, though I’m still waiting on two at this point. And I’m already 8000 words into my next writing assignment, which is a new chapter of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles.
