I'm so excited to be playing again.
My little sister is going to be setting up a game in the near future,
the party already consists of
* Tiefling Eldritch Knight (Me)
* Human Totem Warrior Barbarian (My Cousin)
* A two Bladed Ranger ( A Friend)
* hopefully a Cleric/Paladin (My Brother)
Hopefully the two others pick a Rouge and a Wizard.
But they could change there mind anytime so here I'm hope'n for a good game
Two short sessions leads to two short chapter updates. Well, short for me. My first story (The Mask of Despair and the Face of Hope) I had intended to be only 50k-60k. It ballooned up to double that. Even my short story (What do you Think?) was supposed to be under 5k words, and ended up being 7k. I also never intended the first
Freaking. Yak.
I didn't make up most of his jokes. Those were right out of the player's mouth. He really did say "Yak will sleep with Pony." He really did attack the unlocked door after it was already being opened. Tiny really did challenge the Yak to a damage-off on the Helmed Horror (the animated armor, none of them were able to identify it) Red won. (It was resistant to physical damage, not Fire)
I’m writing this blog for giggles, and in case anyone bothers to read “The Elements of Tyranny” and wants to know what it is we are doing.
We’re playing the Planeshift: Equestria homebrew thing that popped up on EQD a while ago. It’s pretty adorable, although it’s got some nasty balance issues.
Does anyone know how to get into D&D, Pathfinder, or tabletop RPGs? I have no friends in real life and can't really leave my house, so anyone know how to get into something like this without the availability of leaving my house, cause I really wanna get into D&D
Incoming ramble about my Dungeons and Dragons/Pathfinder group.
So it appears I can comfortably manage to write about 10k words a week, plus a few thousand more if I’m on a roll. Which is roughly 1400 words a day. That’s unacceptable. “Wait, what the hell?” I hear you cry out. “That’s like an entire story, every day! How is that unacceptable!?” Well, you person who probably didn’t say that. There’s a bit of backstory to that number, or more importantly, to the number 1,667. Waaaaay back in 2006, my sister introduced me to a little thing called
Anyone up for some monster slaying? Its a sort of homebrew/making it up as i go along campaign we can communicate through discord and what not so any one up for it?
I played a lot of AD&D. I loved re-reading in the big hardcover manuals (2nd edition) about the fantastic creatures and the skills and magic to tackle them. I loved the pure yet varied geometry of the dice, the infinite potential of the character sheets. So I was surprised to realize recently that I hate D&D.
at bronycon this year I princess-carried aragon for like two whole minutes and several people took photos
if anyone who follows me took a photo, could you please post it in the comments
that’d be great thanks
So, Definitely still alive, and just going to reiterate that I'm still lacking the motivation to write for MoW for the moment.
I'm playing as a human mage-turned floor bread headcrab. I'm currently cornered by a guard, with 8/11 HP.
Meanwhile, one of my friends, in trying to save me, missed another guard's balls with his mace, and ended up giving his character a vasectomy.
So yeah. We're doing totally fine...
UPDATE: all he has now is a hole, and I barely lived with 1 HP.
We have the luck and accuracy of drunkards.
Hello my little brony bro’s me and a friend of mine are planning on running a d&d campaign and where in the middle of finding players whom are familiar/or have experienced the the game currently where looking for 2 to 3 more players to join if anyone is interested to join up reach out to me on discord under the same usersname my tag #2449 so that I could replay to my friend so that he can touch base with any of you.
My official character name is "Floor Bread the Stale", but everyone now calls my character "Breadcrab", a reference to the fact that my character was cursed by a magical toaster to be turned into a headcrab made of a loaf of bread.
Reminder:
Race Mixing Is Wrong!
-Wizards of The Coast
When you're trying to be so anti-racist, that you're just being good ol' fashioned racist...
There's some controversy right now about the new OGL (Open Gaming License) published by Wizards of the Coast, the company behind Dungeons & Dragons.
I don't talk about D&D here a lot, since I know it's not relevant to Fimfiction, but I think it's worth getting this news out. Also they're owned by Hasbro, the same company that own MLP, so it's worth knowing what they're up to.
This also affects me personally - details below.
Twice a year, top-notch entertainment comes free to anyone with an internet-connection, and it's finally here!
People pour millions of dollars into flashy blockbuster-movies, and so few of them entertain me as much as five nerds with some dice, costumes and good comedic timing.
