Well, the EU parliament will vote on the copyright directive once again. With the slight difference that this is basically our last chance to stop it. If they'll push it through like it it is right now, only the council can save us. And that's not that likely, I think. The german parliament voted an election about the german government's stand on the copyright reform down which means that it goes directly to the council. The SPD betrayed us. Told us they were against it, voted against it in the parliament and suddenly defended it now. Sides with the CDU.

We're probably just bucked...

Good bucking job, parliament, at ignoring your citizens. Without even hearing out commandments, the directive was passed. Now there's literally only one chance left.

Probably on 9th April, the council votes on it. Our best chance: Germany revoking its approval of the directive. That would be Katharina Barley's chance to show that she actually does what she says, although she backed out again once already. Otherwise, we're bucked.
