New One-Shot: "To Be Kind" · 3:16pm Nov 3rd, 2019
Hey everypony! I just submitted a new story, one for FanOfMostEverything's Imposing Soverigns II contest. It's a little darker than I usually write, but I hope you like it!
Enjoy!

Once a year or so, as part of their ongoing quest to prove that yes, they do in fact look good in anything, the sirens go on shopping sprees and come back with a bunch of new outfits to show off to each other. And of course they have to pose for photos, to document how ridiculously hot they’ve stayed over the years.
Patrons of all tiers can find the script of the first chapter here, where I'll be converting it into a fleshed-out chapter. I'll be continuing the tradition I started with Crystalforged and making my sci fi stories crossovers with TTRPGs, this time a cyberpunk story blending MLP with Neon Black.
Yay!
It's currently sitting at 10,955 words pre-editing, which might not be as bad as i was expecting? The word max seems to be more lenient than I thought, but I'm gonna ask Oroboro just to be sure.
Either way, I'm really happy with how it's turned out I don't know if it'll win, but I'm proud of it either way.
I don't really know how blogs work, so ill just have this blog me spouting out what I am currently working on/finishing up right now. so...
1st. I have almost finished editing the chapters so that they are a little more grammatically/written better.
2nd. I have entered into the Pony to Human TF contest! Once that is over, I plan on releasing the story here so people can enjoy, but not till after the contest is finished.
My latest story, At the End of Ambition, has been up for a little over 24 hours now and when I checked in I couldn't believe the overwhelmingly positive response to this one. This is a just a quick but sincere thank you to everyone who favorited, liked, commented or just enjoyed the story. This one made it on the feature board to boot which is always a great feeling. I'll keep doing my best to be worthy of the praise. Thanks again.
I am cutting it close with the word count on my Sunset Shipping contest entry - I finally uploaded the first four chapters to Fimfiction, and they come out at 8,331 words! That leaves a mere 1,669 words left for the final (and incredibly necessary!) part if I don't wanna go over the word count.
This is gonna be tricky. I expect some painful trimming down in my future
Nothing big, just wanted to let my followers know that I'm entering the new Sunset Shipping Contest. I started work on the story yesterday and managed to get a quarter of the way done on my idea (though I will need to shave a few hundred words off of it at some point, probably...). It was...the most productive writing day I've had in a while, to be honest. But since I'm still working on Synchrony (and

Well this one came together in, well, a flash.

Okay okay, I'll cut it out with the dog puns. For now.
Two bits of news for you all tonight. First, with Chapter 5 of Synchrony nearly complete and Chapter 4 already Applety-approved, you should expect an update to that story sometime this Saturday. Look forward to it!
Second, I've completed the first chapter of the third part of my Sunset Shipping contest entry. I decided to split the third part into two because there's a time skip of about a month in the middle of it, and it felt more appropriate to just have it as a second chapter.
Wait, that sounds dirty. My Sunflower isn't that kind of story.
Anyway, yeah, this is my second cycle of 'the ending of this sucks, I know, I'll try it from Sunset's POV. No wait, Wallflower's was better; I'm just copying dialogue with less context.' It's as hard for my to get into Sunset's head as it is easy for me to get into Wallflower's (Haveing been depressed, but never cool).
I stopped what I was working on and decided to write a story for a contest I saw posted. The contest is for stories that ship Sunset Shimmer and Wallflower Blush in EQG, so if that sounds like something up your alley then feel free to check it out. The link to the contest is in the description so go check out all the other awesome entries. For me, I approached it like I usually do by writing how I feel it would happen in canon within the existing universe.
It's been a while since I had a go at one of the Weekly Contests, er, contests. Their latest one (#25 -- here if you want to have a look yourself) had the prompt "Round and Round" and a maximum of 200 words. (A minimum of ten, incidentally, so at least one fic I've written wouldn't have fulfilled that criterion!) For this one, I knocked up a quick piece called
Hey hey folks. I have another two stories from two separate events I participated in; one is from the RBAIA contest and the other is from Krazy's Warm and Fuzzies event, so there should be a little variety in them even if they're both shippy. Hopefully one might take your fancy to read.
With luck, I'll have a new story posted by the end of the week-end with regards to the Cozy Glow contest, so stay tuned for that. It's about halfway finished and then will need a quick coat of editing.
