... because this week is not off to a promising start...
So "today" being Friday (yes, I'm aware it's after midnight and technically that means it's Saturday now), it was the first day of my work 'week', so let's just pretend it was Monday for me... In typical Monday fashion, things went horribly awry in pretty much every way possible.
If you've like the story of "Inverno in F Minor" you might don't know that I'm officially writing the sequel to the story called "Inverno's Opus in A Minor."
When the time comes and when you come back to this blog, do not fear for me. Rejoice and be glad that I have returned to my Father's house. However, I pray for those who remain will be comforted for the tribulations ahead, that they may seek comfort in the darkest of days. If this site has taught me anything, it is that friendship surpasses all boundaries. So therefore, as a friend I am obligated to leave a message in case I am no longer active in this site.
...will be delayed another week. I'd actually planned to put it out this week, but something vital stands in my way: namely, my wedding anniversary and that everyone wants to celebrate it (seriously, it's not even a milestone anniversary, and my wife even forgot!)
As it stands, the chapter is 2/3 complete and there's still plenty of fireworks left to go. Apologies for the delay, but it'll be worth it.
So, in my head are the voices - more in speech pattern and phrasing than in pitch and tone - of everyone I think about. When I'm working on a story and I've got a good idea of the character's voices I'm more or less transcribing what's going on in my head rather than thinking up stories and crafting them.
Which is heavier? 129 pages of a Cadance book, or 146 pages of Rarity book? The first one, because I'm only 1/3 through that new book, so instead I decided to re-read the entire Rarity book to review it instead. It helps that I already knew what I wanted to say about it.
Also the Princess Cadance book is in hardcover, because alicorn perks. Obviously that makes it heavier.
Summer is here once more, and as usual I had to take some time to prepare for the many trips I will be taking. Apologies for the lack of updates, but rest assured I am working on the next chapter of Morning Meir Case 3, and it will be up very soon. I should have it done by Wednesday at the earliest!

Onto the good news: RexySeven, the owner of the OC in the fic, has already been working on a full-blown comic about her!

Despite this being one of the busiest summers of my life so far, I managed to actually make some decent progress on the writing. And by decent, I mean two chapters.
Chapter 9 - State Your Case, is now in the editing room and will soon be out for all to see!
