Hail Hydra... what? · 12:30am May 29th, 2016
Wait... what?
I went to see Captain America: Civil War the other day with my dad. Captain America 3 is good. Even though it was very loosely based on the comic version Civil War. It was still a good adaptation. aND THAT realy i have to say about the movie w/o giving too much away. And yes the new spiderman is now my fav Spiderman (So sorry TobeyvMaguire but you have been replace. But do THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY heart emoticon b/c if it wasnt for the 2002 spiderman, than i wouldnt have gotten intop comic
Apparently, according to a higher up at Marvel, us jumping to the conclusion being in HYDRA makes Cap a Nazi is totally not Marvel's fault and completely surprised them.
Spoilers will be past the link. Don’t pass that point if you don’t want them.
So, I literally, just now walked in the door from my showing of Captain America: Civil War. So, as this is above the break, here’s my spoiler-free thoughts.
Soooo... Do I even have any watchers anymore? I checked my user page, and realized that the last time I uploaded anything, was back in January. . I'm sorry. I realize that I just disappeared, but between school, work, and computer problems I just couldn't find the time to upload anything. That's not to say I haven't been writing though. I currently am working on the next chapter of I'm Captain America, and I have an outline for my other two stories ready to be
To put it in a nutshell: Main reason i don’t like the new Spierman look is that the costume is so cartoony(and not in a good way).Know what they are trying to do… I know they are having a call back to early spiderman comics/amationed series but there are some things that should just stay there. I am sorry if it is working well for everyone else but me. it just not working well for me.I still have to go with the suit from Amazing Spider-man 1 (next to spider man from 2002 being in second)
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
*Warning, this contains spoilers for the new (at the time) Captain America comic if you haven't already seen the comic.
It also contains me being GENUINELY angry. If you know me, you know me being GENUINELY angry is not something that happens often.*
Okay.
No offense to anyone who's waiting for this story arc to pan out before judging it or are being optimistic. I PLEAD with you to close out of this journal now because I don't want to offend you.
Okay...
I think comics are just the child-friendly version of books for people who can't handle real narrative. The same goes with movies, which are just cheap entertainment with no real value. The worse are fan's fictions, which are all only a escape fantasy from and for people who are just too weak to face the real world.
This is how I've thought since I was eight. Everything I've done so far was done according to those principles.
Anti-Life justifies my hate.

FYI, this clip is from Linkara's review of the comic-book storyline, "Secret Empire".

So...apparently that WHOLE month long anger and rage mongering thing by Marvel about Hydra Cap? The one that got a LOT of people enraged, angry, upset, canceling comic books, and sending DEATH THREATS to the authors.
In case you missed it, I just dropped a new story called Whose Side Are You On?, wherein Aria and Button discuss Captain America: Civil War and whose team they're supporting. What starts out as a friendly conversation soon becomes... More than that.
Captain America: Civil War is, to put it simply, the best film the MCU has given us so far. Picking up in the wake of the utter complete disaster that was Age of Ultron, Civil War works not only to restore the damage that Age of Ultron caused, but also follow up on the remaining plot threads from The Winter Soldier, while also laying groundwork for Phase Three of
I saw it last night. It's the best of the bunch, hands down. GO SEE IT NOW.
Spoilers beneath the cut. You were warned, and I'm not sorry.
Do not READ unless you've either seen or do not care about Spoilers.
So DC has played its hand with Batman V Superman recently. The cards they were holding were terribly lacking unfortunately. Marvel on the other hand had a Royal Flush up their sleeve with Captain America: Civil War. The level of competence and script writing prowess. In here I want to talk about the comparisons between these two movies and why one succeeded where the other failed.
Yep. I went there. I went full on Virgin tabletop gamer on you all, turning Superheroes onto DND Characters that, potentially, you can use in a session. But before we get started, these are the rules I went by.
#1: No Homebrew. Everything is from the official books from Wizards.
#2: All Characters are from Phase 1 of the MCU (Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye). Gotta put a restraint on instead of dumping you with EVERY Character.
