There is the concept of the After-Con Depression.
Essentially, it means exactly what it says on the can: You had a bunch of fun for three-to-four days, now reality sweeps in and takes that happiness away.
I'm not depressed.
Now for the rambling about random thoughts about the recent pony con. Copy-pasted from my main blog. Random length paragraphs with no pictures or overall organization. Reader beware.
Long story short: I should have done several things different and kinda disappointed about things, but I made the weekend better for a lot of people so calling it an overall win.
I'm going. It took months of saving and some cars not exploding in my direction, but I did it. I'll be in Baltimore from July 26th to July 30th.
So, yeah. I'll see you there, or if not, I'll take plenty of pictures.
Hi all! For those of you who do not know, I'm the Vice-Chair of BronyCon 2018! If you've been to BronyCon in years past, you may well know Quills & Sofas is kind of the general Fimfiction hangout area!
In previous years it's been relatively quiet on the 'Things to do' end - there's usually big sheets of paper on the table to doodle on, maybe a couple other things, but that's about it!
Bronycon is a week away and I'm a little short on funds, anything helps and I'm willing to commission stories in exchange for bits.

So I'll be heading back to Bronycon for the fifth year in a row. Woo! And this year I'll be rooming with DarkSonicKiller, so that'll be interesting I imagine. Once again I'm not bothering with a cosplay so it'll be a little difficult to pick me out of the crowd if you want to find me; look for a guy whose face is sunburned. I'll be in the game room a lot, and I'll try to swing by Quills and Sofas from time to time.
Another bronycon has come and gone... And with it, another sad case of PCD. Sure this year was filled with epic failures, PITA group members who should have read the rules and of course, breakdowns. But overall, I am happy I went for my 5th year. Word has it that the con is closing down after the 2019 con happens, but they are doing a 4 day con at least. It's surreal, it feels like just yesterday that i watched my first episode and now we are seeing cons coming to a close, the fandom showing
Part 5: Monday and Final Thoughts
Guess what, bronies.
Against all odds, the Canadian Delegation--GaryOak, Reia Hope, and myself--will be at the big one again this year. Gary's doing three panels, and what do you know, it happens that I'm on one of them.
Part 3: Sunday (before Closing Ceremonies)
BronyCon 2018 was my very first convention ever, as well as my very first MLP convention. I came to BronyCon expecting to meet some of the members of the brony analysis community, as well as to make a few new friends. Though I haven’t had as much success on the friends part as I would have liked—though I did get to see face-to-face a friend that I made online—BronyCon 2018 still had quite a few highlights.
Part 4: Closing Ceremonies
Yes, you--the one I met at BronyCon.
Do you realize you're awesome? Yes, without exception. The types of awesomeness vary, but you've all got it it one form or another. There is nothing I would like more than to list all of you, along with your unique types of awesomeness.
This is a new experiment. It is also a Canadian attempting humour, so it will either be absolutely hilarious or utterly cringey.
Be warned: My memory may have modified itself to be more dramatic. Those who were there, feel free to PM me any needed corrections.

My first Bronycon! :> My first convention ever, really. I've wanted to go for a while now, since I usually knew a few friends that would be going, and this year's the first that I can!
It'd be neat to meet some of you there :) I'll probably hang around the fabled Writer's Room or whatever they call it. If not, I'll be wandering around the halls either filming a youtube video or trying to figure out what you're supposed to do at these things besides film youtube videos.
