This has been willed where what is willed must be.
This has been willed where what is willed must be.
It's now in the hands of the submission editors.
Teasers, questions and more, there!
TEASER FRIDAY.
Probably overheating the house right now, but having a fun old time rendering the Book IV cover.
Also, to whomever put Adagio's picture on the 7DSJ Character pages on TVT, thanks. Stole the image and using it as my avi. If this keeps up, I'll be changing avis regularly.
Oh, and another Book IV teaser tomorrow. Also on the 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28 and 31 of this month.
And then on September 2nd? We get busy.
...how many people would kill me if I pushed back the start of Book IV by a month?
I'm doing my damnedest to pull out all the stops for the art, and...well, let's just say doing the art for Rainbow and Twilight is hell (Rainbow that much more so.)
As it is, I'm running slightly behind on my schedule for AAG's next chapter because of it, as well as The Huntress and Protection.
Eh, we shall see.
...might be interested to know that shit gets worse in Book IV. As in, I'm skirting the Mature fic line and Blue and Flynt have had to drag me back across to Teen more than once.
And you wondered why I needed to make a Book IV separate from Book III.
1. Blue and I have talked; as it's his universe, he's decided that we're not going mature. As much as it would be easier for me at certain points, this is all about Sunset, not the violence. Besides, there's still going to be more than that.
WARNING: Do not move past the jump if you haven't read the final chapter of 7DSJ Book III yet. Spoiler.
Thanks to the work of Flash Frame, you now have a list to go by. Introducing:
By this you will know who may be a target, who may be safe and who you may never see again. She's spent a long, painstaking time to get this together, but I'll let her tell you about it:
A note from the desk of Flash Frame.
"Please, just give yourself up!"
"Why are you doing this? What the hell's going on?"
"We don't have a choice - believe me, if we did, we wouldn't be in this situation!"
"Look, Ari, I can help! I just need to--"
"Sunny, believe me...we were damned a long time ago."
"Yer not harming one hair on mah friend's hair, got that?"
"What, you think you can stop me?"
"Stop? No. Hospitalize? Probably."
"You'll die if you don't join me."
"Not if I take you down first!"
"Then you're a fool."
"No - I'm a SIREN. And I do not run!"
Sunset glared at him: "These are your choices: you can surrender and crawl back to your little hellhole...."
"I do not fear the spawn of the Sun Bitch."
"It's not too late, Sunny! Please!"
"It's too late, Twily. But for what it's worth? I love you, sis. You and our family and friends."
"Stop it! Everything's going to be fine!"
"Not anymore, Twily. We're well past that now."
"No! Please! You're my sister, no matter what you are! I...please don't leave me...."
"It sounds like you're looking forward to this vacation, Twilight, dear."
"Yes! It's finally a chance to vacation with Sunny and get her to let her hair down. She's...always so reserved, and I want to see her happy."
"You sound as though she's not."
"Sometimes I wonder. Sometimes I wonder if there's a whole other life she's lived and that she pines for that."
"We're doomed," Twilight Velvet said, looking at the still corpse in the distance and with more questions than she had answers.
To her surprise, Rainbow Dash moved over and, taking her hand said, "Don't worry, Mrs. V - she's coming."
"Rainbow, I...."
"Trust me - there's nothing that can - or will - stop her, short of an magic orbital friendship laser. Trust me, nobody knows that better than me an' the girls."
Velvet looked at her in stunned surprise.
Octavia looked at the strange, unreadable book, made of leather, that had fallen of Sunset's shelf just a second ago. She swore it had been one of the manga paperbacks that she and Twilight repeatedly shuttled between one another.
"Clavicula Stella Cano," she murmured, reading the cover of the book. She then tried to open it, but couldn't - it just wouldn't open, as if it was not her right to do so.
She looked at the book, then down to Sunset, sleeping peacefully next to Twilight.
...and you'll know in just a few weeks.
