I know that 2023 may have not been a swell year, but I'm sure that 2024 can be a better year if we work hard to make it better.

And so another year draws to a close, taking its share of ups and downs with it as it steps aside for the new. It’s been another long year, but we made it again.

As long as we keep looking up and moving forward, it can be as good a year as we want it to be. It won’t be perfect, of course. The world’s still a mess as always and there’s still things that need fixing and choices to be made. But what’s a new year if not a fresh new chance?
