This week, we return to G. M. Berrow’s Daring Do trilogy to see what the middle volume has in store.

So, a couple days ago, I had this odd dream from... I suppose a second person perspective? Cause, whoever was the main character in the dream definitely wasn't me, lol.
Anyway, after I had the dream, I started thinking about how the circumstances and characters were similar to something I had created long ago, and was struck with inspiration. Writing down the notes early in the butt-crack of the morning, I basically began my three day long mental dwelling of this new idea.
The awaited second chapter to the sadfic, "Dear Friends" has been released! Be sure to check it out below! Also, happy September!

I’ve been consistently unimpressed by G. M. Berrow’s vapid characterization of Rarity in earlier novels. Let’s see if the situation improves when Clothes Horse has the starring role.
Cover art for an author is important—for an Indie, more so. Critical. It sells your book.
I downloaded DiffusionBee (an AI art program) and prompted it to generate 60s and 70s pulp paperback SF art. Things suddenly got bizarre. Yikes. I also wanted to test image-upload to Mastodon, so I created this test cover from one electronic fever dream.
Hello, my long-lost friends!
So, you’re probably wondering what the flipping heck happened to me. After all, the last real post I did, aside from the money stuff and a Hearth’s Warming post, was apparently 82 weeks ago, in September of 2021.
Why hello darlings! Yes everything is fine why do you ask?
I've written words on both my novel ideas, and I've edited a little of my original novel. And.
Oh.
My.
Harmony.
Novels are fucking hard.
Short stories and novellas so efficient! Set a character's goals and move them forward. Pummel them with obstacles until their eyeballs bleed. They persist because they are a plucky type, quasi-happy ending, yay!
1. Before I get into talking about the Wayfarers, I just want to give a big thank you to my constant readers. I know there’s a handful of you, I love you all. The Wayfarers is a longcon to say the least, but one I think will pay out big.
This is the main reason why I decided to skip over the comics a few weeks ago. I like the idea of the first card blog of 2022 using one of the oldest in-universe documents we have for source material. Let’s see what the diarchs thought of their first days on the throne.
So, to overwhelmingly greater demand than I expected (i.e. any,) I am delving into the official Friendship is Magic novels. There are a staggeringly high number of them, along with journals, mysteries, handbooks (hoofbooks?) and more. I have a newfound respect for G. M. Berrow in terms of her sheer output. In any case, let’s see what the very first one has to offer.
Rather appropriate spot for a novel focusing on Discord, honestly. An unexpected intrusion to G5 with startlingly little actual impact on it perfectly describes his actions in the comics thus far. But since the Make Your Mark series isn’t available until tomorrow, it’s noodle novel time.
We turn once more to the official novels, and this time it’s a new author. Let’s see what the human world has to offer.
So, I just happened to find this game on Kickstarter, called Sweet Canvas.
Been one hell of a month for TLaTU, folks, with five chapters released. Now that we've completed the trial, what's left for the final few story chapters is setting the stage for the eventual sequel, and some simple if surprising funtimes--oh yes, some major and very sexy surprises in store! Be afraid, folks... those of you who read Unleash the Magic know how far I'm willing to go, and there *might* be such a scene to come...
Ok, So this is my 50th review blog, and I have now reviewed 141 stories, from 90 different authors.
Now, I would have liked to release another chapter of Short Stories, but I noticed this milestone to late to do so... therefore, I will just be giving you the prompt for one of the next few I do: Zephyr Breeze gets left in the woods by Fluttershy in the events of "Flutter Brutter."
Sometime March 17th or 18th, 2016, I passed 20,000 views. Thank you everypony!
