Good morning everypony!
I wanted to put up another Family Origins #1 short story today, but I haven’t finished transcribing it into my computer yet. I was pretty sick last week, and with my younger brother visiting I’ve fallen pretty behind schedule with my art.
But my goal is to finish transcribing it over the weekend, so I can give it to my editor and work on illustrations for the short story while I wait to get it back. So hopefully you’ll see the finished fic next Saturday.

The work on 'Guidelines' is coming along nicely, I have a couple of good side stories queued up and a small number of unwritten ones with their plots lined out and in the pipeline to be written.

Most likely I will begin posting Guidelines in the middle of this month. The first posting is tentatively the 16th of October but who knows, I might hit a writing whirlwind and dredge up enough content for an early post.

So, I have been hard at work, and I don't just have one update but three planned in fairly quick succession. I won't promise anything solid, because procrastination and shit.

I have prepared the second chapter of Adagio for a Sunset, and I have started the next chapter after that, a new fic, and a side story to Adagio, more like a prequel number two or maybe even a chapter further in, depending on how I execute it.

By the name alone, what do you think will happen?

Well my writing exercise is paying off. Because I am using the ideas that wont fit in my story and writing another story, still undecided if I will ever post it or not, my writers block is easing off. I am writing more and more for the current chapter and everything. Right now the outline for the chapter is done, but I am not sure if I can fill it up to my average word count. Time will tell.

I can't actually believe I am getting along so well with chapters. I am already working on chapter four for The Sun's Damage and I am halfway done of my clopfic. Just need to find an editor or a proofreader and I will be as right as rain!

Thought you'd get rid of me THAT easily? Nope!

Anyway, I hit a bit of a setback with an increased workload, band stuff and a wisdom tooth deciding to not be wise and grow the wrong way which hurt. Like, a lot.

Also videogames. I blame videogames for being fun and I having 0 willpower to resist my urges. I'm still writing stuff, don't worry.

Today was the most productive day as far as caring for myself that I've had in awhile. I've gone from 10% energy to 50% energy. It took awhile to get to this point to where I could care for myself, but it's working out.

All of you make sure you take time for yourselves too. <3 It's important to stay in tip top shape. You can't do physical/mental/emotional labor all the time. Hopefully I'll be back to writing full stop in a couple days.

I still don't have a solid writing schedule. I'm thinking of picking a time or two during the week to snarl at my family that mommy needs her writing time. I have made scattered progress here and there, not just for the AJ/Sun fic (which is my priority atm, being so close to finished) but also for my Eerie Lantern fic! I even had a mind to resurrect my pirate pony fic.
