Some quick notes on two things that are different in the Advancedverse, AU-wise, even before an alien fell out of the sky:

1. Since I'm effectively replacing Earth with Equus in this AU, for one reason, and since it saves time and confusion to not have more than one species of hominin running around, the Advancedverse does not contain Star Swirl's universe-crossing mirror. It contains an awful lot of Star Swirl's mirrors, just not that one.

Having spent some time on FiMFiction reviewing stories for several groups (Story Standards, Blunt Reviews, and Rage Reviews), I see a lot of tag abuse, mostly overuse of genre tags, conflicting genre tags, and so on. I won't lie, I've been extremely nervous about this fic. This is my first real alternate universe fic. It was really tricky and fun writing this fic. In fact, I did quite a bit of research into World War I and replaying of Valkyria Chronicles to help capture everything right for this fic. Putting my college degree to use.

Depending on how y'all respond to this fic, I might explore this AU a little more with different battlefronts with the Young Six. May already be working on a few ideas.
