Not a lot of things can or do bother me anymore.

For starters, I realised early on in my younger years that it is absolutely pointless getting worked up or worried over the little things, I.E, when you get picked on, called names or when you get singled / left out of a group. A trend on this site (and fiction in general) that I’ve noticed is that people tend to seek the more nitty-gritty, the darker, the more “mature” types of art and expression; quite antithetical to the show that brought us all together. I myself am quite guilty of this more often than not, and I think perhaps it’s time to encourage a change.

With now three full chapters written and a fourth starting production shortly, 20k words are already down on the side story in under two weeks. My muse has grabbed hold of this thing and will not let go. What sucks is that I have to wait to release the ready chapters until I've got the entire story arc written (6-8 chapters?) and then write the next chapter of the regular Feathered Hearts story to link to it.

After running my new chapter past prereaders and discussing it with them, the conclusion was unanimous—they loved all of it including the powerful combat scenes and especially some very hot adult action at the end, but the ending scene exceeded an R-rating.
