Another 10 hour day at work. I come home completely exhausted past 7. And it looks like tomorrow's gonna be another one. At least I got a bunch more notes done and quite a bit of research put in.
Just cranked this one out in time for me to head off to good ol' Georgia for Thanksgiving with the relatives! Okay, I'm not changing the story status because, frankly, I've gone far longer between updates without changing it before, but Legacy is going on hiatus for a month or so. Maybe six weeks at worst. The reason? National novel Writing Month.

Apparently, I'm just being all kinds of mean to Twilight. First I kill her for Nightmare Night, now she's the target of police brutality.
So far, so good in my story. I've almost hit the 20% complete mark and it feels good! And it's only week one! Don't worry, my followers, I shall post this story in due time! The first chapter up at the start of December once I've completed it!

anyways i wrote 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo and the fic i'm writing isn't particularly done yet.
My friends, I come to you with mixed news.
I've been wanting to write original fiction for a while now. Years. Decades, actually. This year, I set out to write an original novel.
It's been sitting pretty at three and a half chapters since February. Yeee... 
Saturday ended with 9,138 words in The bag, only 2,528 words under par! Believe it or not, that is quite the achievement given the week I had. It turns out that between work, volunteering, and getting ready for a trip, it all rolled out to about two hours a day to write.
Sometimes less. For instance, while Saturday was a very good day at about 2,500 words, Friday was... not. 21 words? It's a little embarrassing.

It was another semi-productive week for NaNoWriMo! For the first bit in any case. I reached 14,509 words total, which means I wrote a gross wordcount of 5,371 words over the course of five days, Sunday to Thursday. I was not home from Friday to Sunday night, and so did not get any words written (I was taking part in my yearly bout of wildlife conservation). This week is looking similar, so I'm going to do my best to crunch as many words as possible before I take my leave of the internet.

About 16,500 words of Minoan Crisis, and 4,500 in short fiction and poetry for my Creative Writing class. Well, guess I know where my priorities are.
So 21,000 words all told, almost half of the NaNoWriMo goal of 50,000. And I was going to sit down and crank out a bunch of crap to buff my numbers, too, but it's too late and I forgot. Oh well. Maybe I should total up my count every month. This was kind of fun, and insightful too.
