It seems odd to me that I've never seen a single story where the Equestria Girls go through the looking glass. I've seen Sunset Shimmer do it. I've seen Adagio Dazzle do it. But those are returns; not someone new. I think there's a lot of potential (hijinks, adventure, comedy) in the concept but it simply hasn't been touched at all! Why? Could it be general disdain for EQG that's prevented this from taking off?

Hey guys, so it's late at night and I should be working on a paper, but I took a quick break from it to bring you some news. I am canceling "Stuck". I do not have the same passion for it as I did when I was 17. Here I am, 21 years old, writing better stuff now. I know some of you are saddened and disappointed, and I can not blame you. This story was how I got onto the site and how I became a brony. But I feel that the story is going nowhere, and, to be honest, the story is crap. It really is.

Hey so posted a new story yesterday.

Essentially: Cocky brony thief steals duster and would have gotten away with it if not for meddling cops. Goes to prison, god guy throws him down a hole, and he appears in another jail cell, as a dogger. Dogger meets a kitty cat, and the two escape into the open desert, and set out on a journey to Dragon Roost.

And so "Interrogation", the third chapter of Altered Visage, has arrived. Sorry about that cliffhanger. Not really sorry, though, I just felt it would be polite to say so.

Finally made it to lucky number thirteen. For some reason, I prefer and have absolutely no trouble writing introductions. But when it comes down to actually doing more than that, I don't know... Maybe I just don't like seeing things complete. Maybe some deep seeded fear of absolute finality, of closure. Who knows, really?

Fluttershy and Shepherd were out, enjoying watching bats snag insects under the summer moon. Both sat on a blanket, Fluttershy in her human form. She is snuggled against him, one of her wings wrapped around his shoulders as he held her close in his arms.

Fluttershy: "... Shepherd?

Shepherd: "Mm?"

Fluttershy: "... If Twilight becomes a princess... She'll be immortal."

Shepherd: "I... Well, yeah. Functionally, I suppose."

Whenever I take time away from writing, I always forget that I do my best work when I skip around chapters and scenes like a little kid in a sweets shop trying to decide which candy to buy. And then I inevitably try to write things sequentially because it makes sense, and because I wrote an outline and everything, you know, and then I get stuck because I've forgotten to run around between scenes like a crazy person, which is really the only way I ever finish anything.
