Ment to hold all the trash
Flying out of the lockers
As a sign
That it is finally, and almost completely,
Over
These bags always seem
so ridiculously big
yet you know
they're not big enough
And so it start
Laughter, screams and high or low pitched voices
Bending and moving up and down in such a way
It sounds like a hole forest
filled with wild animals
There is pushing bodies, hands waving and legs kicking
Everywhere

I'll be in attendance again this year. 
I look forward to meeting and spending time with as many of you as I can. A goodly bit of it at Quills & Sofas, I'm sure. I'll probably be a little less overwhelmed this time!
There is a rumor going around that someone calling herself La Mer will be dancing and singing on stage at the Friday night burlesque/variety show (21+). Last year I was in the audience and the show was a lot of fun! This year promises more of the same.

I got nominated for most talented in visual arts for tonight's who's who and I'm excited! I can't wait! Now all I need to do is figure out what bottoms to wear with my top. Also, I got nominated alongside one of my friends so I won't care whether I win or lose as long as one of us takes the win.

I live in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico to be exact and Irma, by a stroke of luck, hadn't caused the expected damage as it changed tragectory last minute.
But before it did, the whole island suffered a blackout, cellphone towers just recently ran out of gas for their backup generators (they're back online btw).
I guess I was lucky. Nothing life threatening accord during the time of the brutal winds and never-ending rain.
