I finished the chapter! Specifically, chapter 5 of Sunset in Ponyville, after writing 1,286 words today. Just as planned.

Let's see, that puts me at a grand total of 6,835 - already I've beaten my total for March! Tomorrow is probably gonna be a low word count day, though, since I wanna focus on getting chapter 4 edited and shipped off to Applety for a further look-over. Then... I'll see how much I can get done on the next chapter of Synchrony.

Another super good writing day in a row, with 1,221 words added to the Synchrony chapter I'm working on! I should be finished with it fairly soon, meaning I'll be able to get started on the next chapter of Sunset. And after that's done, and chapter 8 gets posted, I'll finally be able to work on my sorta-revamp of Synchrony!

Good news! I can finally announce that I'll be posting the next chapter for Sunset in Ponyville tomorrow! Ah, it's always nice to have an update to anticipate...

Meanwhile, on the daily wordcount front, I've gotten 1,048 words done today. That puts me at 15,293!

Alright! I got another 1,044 words for Synchrony done today, putting the current chapter at 4,564 total. I finished the section I started yesterday, and started a new one - the penultimate one, in fact (aside from any short ending bit I add). I should hopefully be able to finish this section tomorrow, and if the stars align I'll be able to start the next one too.

Early update tonight, cause I've already finish the chapter. _{Technically I somehow managed to finish it hours ago, but still...}

And believe it or not, I managed a whopping 1,297 words in about half the usual time! Holy cow was I on fire! But hey, I knew exactly what I wanted to write, and was able to dump all of my focus into it.

Not much of an update today - I got chapter 5 of Sunset in Ponyville off to my editor, and that's it. I'll let you all know when it's going to be posted.

I'm ending the penultimate day of the month having written 1,064 words - only 72 off from my goal! Part of me does want to just keep pushing and hit 29k before I got to bed, but... I kinda also wanna just leave it there, and push for an even 30k total tomorrow. So I'll do that, with the excuse that I'm still not entirely certain that I know what comes next at the point I'm at in the chapter.

Today was my third solid day in a row, managing to write 1,094 words for the Sunset in Ponyville chapter I'm working on. Which includes a bunch of dialog, and also finalizing the chapter title. Still not quite at my 'smooth sailing' point just yet, but aside from one particular scene I'm not certain what else I want to include. I suppose I'll figure that out tomorrow. It's entirely possible that I finish it up.

Turns out, writing out a retelling of an important event sparked some inspiration and words in me. Actually had to get myself to stop a little once I realized it was past midnight. But still, it's unexpected in a good way!

That said, I am slightly worried that I may have set my sights a little too high with this chapter. I'm not entirely sure it's gonna naturally flow in the direction I want it to, but I'm confident I can make it work.
