If I can get a good streak going with updates to Worlds Reset, then I might actually be able to get the new story posted exactly one year after Pony-Me officially concluded.
And if I don't... I think I'll still post on that day. It's a good day for posting stories, and for a set posting date, I could also prepare a good promo wave to go along with it. If Worlds Reset isn't completed by then, then I'll just bump it to the lower-priority tier and finish it over time.
Hello everyone, Dragon-In-Black here just here to let you know that the next chapter of Dictators Of Ponyville has been released. Be aware that it’s mostly a “filler” chapter and not really a proper continuation but can still be fun to read nonetheless. Enjoy!
A few months ago I got a message from Leliil asking me for permission to include a translated version of Dying to Get There in a book over in Mother Russia.
Naturally, I said yes.
Apparently, the book has been finished! Alas, I don't speak Russian, so I can't really understand the announcement.
OH JEEBUS I ACCIDENTALLY PRESSED THE PUBLISH BUTTON I'M SORRY BUT THE CHAPTER ISN'T READY YET
Hello folks, sort of a primer to get some interest in the next update for Unicorn x Unicorn as well as an attempt to really stoke some motivation in myself to follow through. Through Hell or high water I'll be posting this weekend.
First off, when I say the writing business, or simply 'the business,' I mean the actual business of writing stories and getting paid for it. I'm not talking about the bookselling business, the publishing business, the paper business, the wholesaler business or any of those businesses that perch up on high overlooking the scribblers down in the dirt. It doesn't matter if Bloomsday or Waterstones are making record profits if a skilled writer can't catch a break. When I say the writing business,

Well this post has been a long time in coming.
No, seriously. We're currently on Topic List IX, right? This post was a considered topic back on topic list VIII. Or maybe it was VII. I only started keeping track of carry-over topics with list number IX.
Two quick things, and a short blub on characters: First, Lulu is having a 15 percent off sale today with code PRINT15 which is good for most of Ponyfeather Publishing's catalog including the Friends of PFP tab and Georg's collection. I’ll still do
So here I was, checking how many views my latest chapter got since yesterday...
Only to find out that it is no longer published...
What?
I'm pretty sure that I published it yesterday so I went to the main page of this site and checked the recently updated stories.
There it was listed as well...
But now it's unpublished...
I don't know if I missed some kind of update on this site or something since I usually go to sleep after I publish a new chapter but it is a little strange.
EDIT: The survey is closed! Thanks to everyone who participated. If you missed it, feel free to let your favorite authors know directly that you're interested in their printed fanfic.
I'm thrilled by the response to opening submissions for the first Ponyfeather Publishing anthology: I have over 1,000,000 words representing over 150 authors in the submission queue!
Since the next two chapters are pretty short, I decided to release them both at the same time today. I hope everyone enjoys this double release.
Mayor Mare’s office was full of parchment. Some behind glass cases, some loose sheaves, some bound in books, and a single piece on the desk in front of her, half-full of her loopy handwriting. The room even smelled of parchment, a unique scent that only formed when the material combined with ink. The pony herself sat staring at me with an artificially blank expression.
“Dead when I found him.”
Mayor Mare blinked. “Is that so?”
“Yes,” I said.
THAT WAS A COMPLETE ACCIDENT- I DID NOT MEAN TO PUBLISH AN UNFINISHED CHAPTER!
I swear to god I was in bed, I was like "Hey, why don't I write down a bit of the story before I sleep? Won't THAT BE FUN?" But the thing with MOBILE is that the edit and the publish buttons are so close my big fat finger hit the PUBLISH BUTTON!!
Okay- IT'S NOT DONE. I swear I'm working on it though but- it was not supposed to do that. Especially not at midnight where I am.
If you paid attention to my ever-changing user page, you know there was a 1000-word writing contest.
And you know me. I like winning.
For that reason, I just published a new contest entry:
Hello there, readers (all five of you, lol)!
Within the next few hours, as soon as Ponyville Ciderfest concludes, I will publish a new story here on Fimfiction. It was my entry for the Storyteller writing event at Ponyville Ciderfest, which was published along with many other fine stories in "Scattered Pages: Tales from the Book of All Stories."
But that isn't the only thing this post is announcing.
