It's laggy Minecraft speedrunning time!

So, the only reason I have a PS3 anymore is because I play Minecraft on it. The system doesn't handle the game very well. The autosave function brings the game to a screeching halt for up to, and sometime over, thirty seconds. The more of the map you explored the worse the lag and autosave length got, and the FPS tanks every few minutes.... but at least I could play Minecraft. I could even build most of the stuff you see other Minecrafters, such as the Hermits of HermitCraft, make.

Had to travel another 1k blocks on top of what I'd already explored in the Nether, and it took about half an hour of bed bombing at y=13 just for 8 ancient debris, but I've got it! It's enough for a full set of armor. :V

Specifically, I ran Indev at a laggy 12-15 fps, and 1.5.2 at ~5-6 fps.

I suspect that the CPU is the bottleneck, 'cause Minecraft is much more CPU intensive than it is on the GPU.

Though, I do have a 400-something MHz Pentium 2 in storage that I pulled from a different computer...

Either way, the thing can barely play Youtube videos at 144p, and it actually surprisingly loads Fimfiction pretty quick.
