Well, we’ve reached that point, now. The Halo TV show has run its course of a full season, the last episodes being in May, the public has had time to digest and deliberate, and now we see the trickle-down effect of how people refer to it in casual conversation.
One of my friends tagged me again for the eight facts about your OC meme, so I thought, why not do Halo? Besides Lyric, she is my most beloved MLP OC. So, here we go!
1. Although she is now an alicorn, Halo was born as a pegasus, and she was never a princess.
So obviously the third story in the Flintlock saga is out. I keep forgetting I have this blog thingy in which I can just rattle on-and-on and really enjoy the sound of my own voice... or typing... whatever.
The Sequel for EQUISPARTANS IS BEING WRITTEN AS I SPEAK!
Some important notes (SPOILERS FOR THOSE THAT HAVEN'T READ EQUISPARTANS. IF YOU HAVEN'T, STOP READING HERE AND READ IT. A LOT OF STUFF WON'T MAKE SENSE IF YOU DON'T. SERIOUSLY. DO IT.)
Takes place after Halo 5 and between seasons 5 and 6 of MLP, in what I call my "Story Gap."
Welcome to my review section something that I am hoping can go to add a bit of extra learning and interest in the blog. For this review I'm choosing the most recent book I read; Halo: The Cole Protocol. I'll go over a few points and talk about my general experience reading it and some personal thoughts about the work.
TYT's YouTube exclusivity will end sometime this year. No release date given.
In Halo news, Microsoft was hit with company-wide layoffs today, including 65 or more people at 343 Industries. Most tragically, Joseph Staten has also left to rejoin Xbox Publishing.
I can't really say I'm shocked. You don't under-deliver for 14 months and not have it come back to bite you in the ass at some point.
Greats to whom it may concern,
I will be attempting to write more on this site and hopefully keeping people entertained. A few things first to bare in mind as you like and follow should you choose.
The stories I feature here will more than likely be "multidimensional", anthropomorphic cross overs.
Hey there to the like 2 people who still remember this account exists. It's 2021, I haven't looked here since 2017, so a lot has changed. I think its safe to say that I won't be continuing Long Far Gone, nor do I plan to write anything horse related for the foreseeable future. While I still genuinely want to see what I thought was a pretty good deepest lore come to it's deserved conclusion, I don't know where I'd even begin to untangle it.
This year, I knew I was probably going to have to decide between going to a Sonic concert in Cleveland and going to an HCS Major over the course of a weekend.
That decision was just made for me, and it is luckily the cheaper option, because more and more esports leagues have clearly forgotten that the Midwest US still fucking exists.
I just saw the Halo Wars 2 leaked cutscenes.
And I have a plan.
Do you want to see Equispartans III, only with Halo Wars 2 and more ponies?
Yeah, I'll leave it up to the comments.
Just to note, I have a plan for how the Infinity reaches the Spirit of Fire after the conclusion of Equispartans II. They find Isabel's distress signal, and the Spirit of Fire's slipspace core, and make the connection.
No, I'm not back from hiatus yet. Just popping in long enough to post this picture and respond to some comments/PMs.
For those of you who don't know, this is a picture of The Wandering Bard's oc, Halo. I hope you like it Lyric!
This may surprise some of you but yes I am a Halo fan, I’ve played the games since I was I believe Seven? In any case many other Halo Veterans such as Instillation 00 fell a lot of emotions from this announcement and I do as well just not as much as one would expect.
You may have noticed a lack of updates for my stories. Between Calculus and other life stuff, I'm going through a major rewrite of my two main works, as well as creating a set-piece.
Well, I'm going to try my hardest to get a chapter update out by tonight, because I'm going to hopefully be able to get a solid night's sleep before things kick off at 8 AM EST.
At that point, I'll be trying my best to do 25 hours of Halo. I'll be posting blog updates throughout the day, likely when I complete a game and go onto the next one, along with links to watch and donate.
...Older and more nostalgic for Halos of the past, but Warzone Firefight hasn't really impressed me.
ODST's Firefight was perfect. It was about... Oh yeah, survival. And at least in Reach, grinding for credits in Firefight was somewhat fun, and you could solo it if you wanted.
But here? Either go in with a fireteam, or you'll have to match with randoms.
Four items of news today, folks! All of it good!
You know that old saying “No news is good news?” Well, I have been a little quiet over the last few weeks.
