If you favourite a story, but don't leave an like then what's the point on putting it on your favourite list? Normal readers and writers do this which I don't understand, if you're a writer I want you to look at your most popular story and think on what wluld've happen to that story if tons of people favourite it but there wasn't a single like anywhere. All the dislikes are there but no like.
Some lovely down-tempo acoustic rock with a generous helping of folk. Unseen Guest's music certainly has a calm, laid back feel that is perfect (IMHO) for sitting quietly with a significant other (or friend) simply watching a light thunderstorm through an open door...
Been a very slow tropical season, but I see a swirl of thunderstorms in the Atlantic which looks like it should be declared a storm any time now. The odd thing is that it's very far north for a storm to form, about the latitude of New Jersey, normally where storms begin to fizzle out as the hit colder water. It's probably right over the Gulf Stream, which is fueling it. I suspect it only has a short window to keep going, as it's chugging along at a brisk pace and once it moves further north
As Tom Lehrer said "One man deserves the credit, one man deserves the blame". I can thank Daedalus Aegle here for introducing me and Significant Other to Jason Webley's music. It is a nice blend of folk and punk which mixes manic violin and rhythmic guitar in equal measure.

But I digress. I'm back to writing until further notice, so buckle up, cause I got a few new poems in the works(not gonna say what though). A Random Spout of Nonsense by a Small Writer
I think one of the hardest things for a writer to understand is if an idea is simply a nice thought, or something that can be expanded upon into its own world. We often think of idea's and say; "Wow! That'd be a really good story. I should start writing that and get it up and see how people like it!"
Due to me not having work for the foreseeable future and the general reaction to the story, I'm fast tracking writing chapter 2. Was going to take a bit longer of a break, but well, decided not to.
Be out sometime. Don't know when. Maybe this month if lucky. Probably next month if not.

The Like-Dislike/ Up-downvote system is a very good way to rate a story in my opinion. What I don't like about it, is that it doesn't give you any indication of what was the reason for a rating, for example if it's a well liked fic what is it that's good about it and if it's downvoted, then what's the reason for that.
