Seriously, truly sorry about saying nothing for literally a month and a half. It's been... awkward lately. Not gonna get into any personal details, but just know that things are fine despite the nonsense. Writing slowed to a microcosm crawl, but I think I hit a breakthrough for a side chapter I was working on for "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children" (thank you Season 7 box set!). 2022 is coming to a close, and with it, my first full year writing stories for Fimfic. I can't really remember how many followers I started with on January 1, but it's a whole lot more than that now, and thank you all for that. At the time, I was grateful if enough viewers liked a story for me to get 20 upvotes and 150 views. Now I have four stories over 100 upvotes and four (nearly five) over 1000 views. That's genuinely

Sometimes, you just gotta write a holiday thing that hits the feels you wanna share.
Because it wouldn't be the holidays if it wasn't last minute, right?
So anyway...about the chapter for "Grief" that was planned to go up tonight...it's, uh...it's not finished.
It's so close to being finished that it's not funny, and by all accounts, I easily should've been able to get it finished this week, helped by the fact that I've been feeling pretty good about this next chapter.
But it's not.

This year has been a strange one with many unusual trials and tribulations. While in some ways I'm glad it's over and that hope is in sight, believe it or not, I don't think year has been all bad.
Not just for me at any rate. And certainly not the worst year in history many have been saying it is.
I do feel that too much negativity can damage a society at large and negativity seems all too common.

I know this blog entry is a little late, cause it's not exactly Hearth's Warming Eve anymore, but I didn't get around to it yesterday and the day before and also hesitated a little with making this kind of blog entry this year cause there isn't much to tell right now writing-wise.
