I think that many people here already see the G5 Movie trailer and read the summary. So... After several years after Celestia stepped down and Twilight take the throne, Equestria pretty much fell apart? Earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns all live separately, and there is "paranoia and mistrust".
Funny thing that back in Russian brony circles I many times said that Twilight rule most likely ended up horribly and will end Equestria as we know it. And it looks like I'm right!

Because when it comes to redemption stories, almost all of them in G4 turned out to be good.

The only one I'll come out and say was outright shit was Garble. Too fast, and too far out in left field.

That's my question. In MLP The New Generation. Who is ruling Equestria? Who's in charge? Is there a new Princess? Or was the Monarchy abolished? What happened to Twilight?What caused Equstria to become the way it is? All pony races now distrust each other.

Has anypony noticed that naming conventions for future Equestria involve much simpler names?

G4 names are usually either 3 or 4 syllables.
Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, and Twilight Sparkle

G5 names are usually 1 or 2.
Pipp, Zipp, Hitch, Sunny, and Izzy

Yes, Sunny is "Sunny Starscout," and Izzy is "Izzy Moonbow," but those are treated almost like last names. Nopony really calls them that.
