Today, Obabscribbler, who needs no introduction, wrote this comment on my story I Cast a Deadly Shadow:
Congrats! This is the (very belated) winner of the Bronycon Them's Writin' Words 2018 Contest!
A full cast reading of your story featuring myself, Goombasa, Neighrator Pony, Luna Farrowe and Wubcake is now in development. Thank you again for writing such an awesome fanfic!
Well. I am absolutely floored.
Surely y’all remember my last blog post. Or maybe the one before that, I can’t remember.
Quick and dirty check of everyone's thoughts on the matter: I'm thinking of putting together another Imposing Sovereigns contest (details in the link.) Who'd like to participate? Who'd like to judge? Who'd like to see some twists on the formula, and what should they be? And most importantly, if we were to start this Sunday, who's okay with October 20th as a deadline?

And here we are, at the long-anticipated 200 Follower milestone! If you were here during the 100 Follower milestone, you know what that means! That's right! Writing suggestions thread!
So, last week gave me a roller-coaster of difficult obstacles to overcome, and I rode it to victory, but...
I'M RUNNING DRY ON IDEAS!!! Particularly of the stories attached. That's why I'm reaching out to my audience to offer a chapter idea for any story attached to this post.
The Rules are fairly simple and to the point:
1. Has to obey FiMFiction.net's rules for story creation(as with all stories created on here!)
Below is my August 2017 submission for the Flashfic Fimfiction group.
There's a limit of 150 words. This story was written for the prompt, "The Boiling Point", selected by xjuggernaughtx.
It's been a few weeks since the results of the first decennial Sunset Shimmer Shipping Contest. And although the results weren't that controversial—I've only yet seen one person accuse us of being biased and wrong—I know that there were loads of stories that deserve some recognition, if not simply to be talked about.
Hello everypony!
First off, news!
1. I plan to release another story coming up on Monday or Tuesday. It's a short one with no cuddling, but I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out.
2. We have the results of my CuddleFic Contest. However, the judges still need to work out a few things before posting the results; still, I hope to release the results over the weekend, and failing that certainly next week!
Wow... Ok guys, I've been looking over these entries and...
I don't know how I'm going to pick any winners.
All of these are really good in their own way. I feel like I might just scrap the "single-winner" concept of a contest and go with an "everypony wins" type ending here. Honestly, everypony worked hard, and I actually like those sorts of scenarios better, but I'll have to figure out what I'm going to do to make that meaningful at some point...
Hello everyone! I just releasted THIS BLOG POST in the CategoricalGrant's CuddleFic Contest group announcing our winners and honorable mentions for
I have read every story. I have judged them all. And now... it is time for the results.
Let's begin with the odd awards!
Good Story, But Not The Deepest
A trend on this site (and fiction in general) that I’ve noticed is that people tend to seek the more nitty-gritty, the darker, the more “mature” types of art and expression; quite antithetical to the show that brought us all together. I myself am quite guilty of this more often than not, and I think perhaps it’s time to encourage a change.
Hello again, folks. Today we have a couple of stories that looked promising; one that reminded me of a story I myself wrote back in 2016 (one of the most popular ones, too!), and a short story that I actually spent a good long time having to think about, as the things I ended up finding interesting about the story took a few rereads to sink in.
Let's see how they did!
Firstly, I'm planning on opening a contest this Friday. There's a hint as to the theme below the fold:
If you like muscular girls, writing, or money, this is the contest for you! Head on down the Muscle Mania and submit a story to be judged by your's truley and two other guys that actually know what they're doing.
