Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying this month. I have plenty of stuff happening this month. While I will be taking a short break from Hoodwinked, it's pure because I've multiple other stuff going up this month. From additional chapters for both my original stories to a new chapter for Journey To Hearth's Warming and a stand-alone comedy one shot. Either way, let's get onto this month's schedule.

I'm starting to notice I tend to put the mane six into certain roles whenever I write them into my stories or imagine new concepts. Here are some examples:

Yes, that's right, I made a Rarity x Coloratura group. Or I suppose, a Rarity + Coloratura group; it is intended to encompass not only shipfics, but also stories about them as friends or working together.

The success of Letting Things Get Out Of Hand was nice
But it seems to have overshadowed the story I posted just days beforehand
TWILIGHT: "Yes! Finally, I'm a Princess!"
SPIKE: "...Where's the punchline, Twilight? We're all waiting."
TWILIGHT: "Punchline? I'm a Princess now, Spike. I can't go around tossing out quips and jokey asides."
SPIKE: "But... just last episode you were all snarky and remarking for characters of the day to not come back! What happened?!?"
*Five minutes of ranting later*
*Takes deep breaths* Sorry about that folks, I just needed a moment to compose myself. Anyways, Rainbow Dash is in the midst of coaching Pickle and Barley the basics of flight maneuvers. Which leads us to wonder how their training is coming about.
About as well as we expect.
RAINBOW DASH:"Heh, looking back at this, Twilight, you might say that you needed help learning how to train your dragon!"
TWILIGHT: "Oh, sweet Celestia, reverse my alicornhood and kill me now..."
DISCORD: "Finally! Oh, you silly little ponies have no idea how infuriating it's been to sit on the sidelines while you all deliver uninspired opening zingers! Well, except for Pinkie, that meta one back for 'Feeling Pinkie Keen' and Twilight's response was gold. Now, I can show you all how it's really done - "
REMANE 5: "Surprise!"
RARITY: "Wha...! But, I... what are you all doing here? You're cutting into valuable screentime for me to chew the scenery! I was saving all that for the episode's last third!"
I have written something new, spontaneously and unexpected. When I was rewatching Markiplier's infamous Let's Play of "My Little Foundation: Containment is Magic", I got inspired and had a little vision. It's less than 1,000 words and I'm not sure if it will become a full story, because I feel that the beauty of it lies in detailing that one moment and that explaining what exactly happened or telling what happens afterwards would ruin the feeling, but I wanted to share it here:

Not super feeling it right now, guys. Got a meeting this late afternoon/evening and another tomorrow morning, involving co-workers, a performance review and a meeting about our current product. (The performance review should, honestly, be fine, but that's not going to stop me from worrying.)
I could have typed stuff during the con, but, well - it was a wonderful convention and i want to gush about it later.
TWILIGHT: "Would you look at that, Spike! Our opening screenshot shows off that most useful of animation principles - smearing! Okay, it's mostly wind, but it counts! How often do you see that in Flash?"
SPIKE: "..."
TWILIGHT: "...you don't know what smearing is, do you?"
SPIKE: "...No..."
