First Story Upload · 5:10pm Jan 19th, 2018

Hello, and thanks to anyone who's reading this!
So I've just uploaded the first two chapters to the first story I've put on here, Through the Mist. A TL;DR of the plot is: Starlight successfully stops the sonic rainboom and creates an alternate timeline where the elements of harmony never existed, and Twilight has to team up with her alternate-dimension self in order to restore harmony.

Author's Notes On Crisis Of Confidence · 4:00pm Mar 14th, 2019

As I type this, Crisis Of Confidence has managed to claw its way into sixth on the Uncensored Feature box and fifth on the "no-M" Featured box. Thank you so much for giving it (and me) a chance! Before the jump, here's what I was listening to while editing last night:

What A Week · 5:19am Apr 4th, 2020

This week has been... Well, overwhelming. Not in the way last week was, but more... like with some life stuff.

For starters, my Mom struggling with her technology was a big thing. I'm trying to give her support because she's teaching from home, but I had to do a lot of her work for her and getting told that I wasn't doing it fast enough or not doing it right multiple times by my dad (who was observing and has no clue what her work entails technology wise), was incredibly frustrating.

Thank You · 12:12am Feb 17th, 2021

CW’s for the story heavy depression themes, self harm and self harm scars and unhealthy coping mechanisms.

I don’t really know how to start, but I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for reading Beyond The Frayed Threads and thank you guys for all the support for it.

When the contest and the prompts were announced, I only had one thought for a story; Moondancer going to a spa.

The Reason · 6:47am Apr 17th, 2020

Well, this story was certainly an experience. It's always interesting when one of the voices in my head decides to speak up and make me pen their word fountain for them, and then insists that I post it or they will not shut up. Last time that happened actually it was with my voice named Mia and the story she prompted me to write was "Into The Mirror" which, Ironically, made it to the top of the featured page.

Update Version 11.2 · 1:24pm Dec 14th, 2019

BLUF: New Chapter soon, author notes edited, momentum staying course.

Hey all! I finished the writing for the next chapter so expect that to come out soon. I'm aiming for around Sunday evening and no later than Tuesday afternoon. I also went back and "fixed" the author notes in Part 1. No need to go and reread them as they're nothing more than song references similar to those found in part 2's ANs. Remember that super long one at the end of "Just Wing it"? It's completely kaput now.

Thundermare is Go · 12:22am May 14th, 2019

We Don't Talk About Captain Thunderhoof is complete, and I wanted to share some thoughts about it. If you haven't read it yet—possibly because you like to wait until after stories are finished to read them—go check it out before reading this blog, as it assumes you're already familiar with everything and is riddled with unmarked spoilers.

"Fading" Surprise Fic Reading · 3:52pm Mar 3rd, 2018

So I logged in last night only to be greeted by a couple dozen notifications, most of them regarding a rather forgotten sadfic I wrote for a contest in 2014. Turns out, Scribbler and friends did a full cast reading of Fading.

This is awesome, and also got me thinking about the story again.

Panicking · 2:00am Feb 25th, 2020

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been on in a long time. I've been definitely far away from the MLP fandom and writing for Death Note these days. I'm on here at the moment because I'm absolutely panicking and need to vent.

My phone bill like shot up last month and I have no idea why. It's over $900.00. So my entire last paycheck plus my tax return went to making a partial payment on it but it wasn't enough, and now my entire next paycheck has to go to the bill too, and I'm $106.00 short.

Writing 'Not My Rescuer'; Extensive Author's Notes · 9:28pm Jul 2nd, 2020

Howdy folks. I've recently published a new story that went through a very different writing process than what I'm used to; it's called 'Not my Rescuer (but not bad either)', and focuses on Rarity going on a blind date. I actually had a fair bit of fun writing it, even though I didn't really do any of the things I typically do when writing stories, and I wanted to discuss them, because I quite like talking about my experiences writing when they're particularly noteworthy (I wanted to do

The Midnight Filly: Author's Notes · 4:26am Jan 8th, 2018

So, years ago there was an author on this site who went by the name RealityCheck. He's since left this site for another site due to disagreements with the mods here, but he was also a frequent blogger. One time, he used this blog to introduce a story idea that he didn't have time to write himself for whoever wanted to use it: an alternate universe where Celestia gave the Elements of Harmony to new ponies after Nightmare

Greetings and thank you for reading Sasha and clicking on these author's notes. I hope you liked my story. I enjoyed writing it. I have a fair few things to say about this one.

Slow Fade · 2:57am Mar 4th, 2020

I left my husband today.

It felt like a long time coming. It's been a very hard day. We agreed to be friends, so I guess that's good. I'm just kind of trying to deal with this. It's hard, dealing with the death of a dreamscape you had for nearly nine years. I don't think I'm dealing with it very well, honestly. I'm just trying to get through it.

FS 1(?): Sappiness Is The Only Answer · 9:08am Aug 1st, 2016

I've been sitting on this one for a while now. It was late in 2014, and while Rainbow Rocks had restored my faith in the show after Twilight's Kingdom, I was still in kind of a funk. Mostly because of some personal reasons, as at that point I was still feeling kind of directionless in regards to IRL stuff, partially because of my lack of progress on any of my major stories, either on here or with my original ideas, and partially because I kept trying to write but everything coming out of my
