So, I've decided to add links to the music of my chapters in the story where I believe they best represent the mood if they apply. Some pieces are only inspirations.

With the exception of one song, I was able to find youtube videos to link the music to the story.

I have finally finished Chapter 57 of Tale of the Second Alpha. Almost an entire month in the working and I am finally finished with it. If you are wondering why it took so long then just look at the chapter length when it is finally released tomorrow. Here's a hint, it is my longest chapter ever, by far. With a word count of over 15,000 words. The longest previous chapter being the one just before it, at just over 11,000 words. So yeah, I think I earned a longer time for writing.

Just watched the Season 5 Finale. Positively, beautifully savage.
Definitely would have been an extraordinary ending to the show as a whole. Makes me wonder what they've got in store for the sixth (and likely final) season. I'm guessing Starlight Glimmer will live in her village again and show up for a few more episodes, and the series finale will no doubt pull in every major character.

Final thoughts:
I honestly thought that it would end on a time out. Good show on the animators for giving us a fast paced finish there. As for everything after that... Not fussed. Anyone and their mothers could see that end coming.

As for the series as a whole;
It’s been a real mess of a ride. When it got good - it got REALLY good. There were a few slice of life episodes and it was nice to see some proper hilarious moments.

I'll be quick: story is completely finished. All chapters are currently being edited, and will likely be posted this week at the same time (because I sure as hell am not making people wait any longer). That being said; I'm done. It makes me sad that I'm thinking this way, but after slowly chipping away at 27k~30k words divided over six chapters for OVER A YEAR has left me drained, at least when it comes to this story.
