Here with another update! What happens when you try and micromanage every detail of a village? Lots of arguing and ponies that don’t necessarily agree with all of your leadership ideas. It’s a small break from some of the romance, but an important break nonetheless. The next chapter should see more of that sooner than later.

Part 65 - Channel Change is the first of a two-part grand finale that I originally wrote as one large chapter, but decided that 30k words was a little much for a single chapter, even an ending one. Aside from the usual edits and cleanup, smoothing things out and putting in some additional detail and dialog, there is one major update to the chapter.
Sorry for the short gap in chapter posting, I was busy writing the unexpected hit that was “You’re Probably Wondering Why I’m Wearing a Maid’s Dress...” which wound up pushing back the rest of my writing. That’s not really the worst thing imaginable though, because it gave me some more time to work on today’s chapter. I’m quite happy with it and I hope you all enjoy it as well, because it sets up the next leg of the story and I have some fun moments coming up that I’m excited to share with you
Sorry, had some shit to get through these past few days, anyways, I hope you guys are still on board, two chapters supposedly 3,000 or 4,000 in length will be posted tomorrow morning, I've got an assignment to finish tonight.

Sorry it’s been so long, I’ve been so focused on getting ranked up in game and starting up end again that I haven’t made a ton of progress. I also am doing a bit of reworking for this chapter since the original outline for it doesn’t feel like it meshes with where the story is currently. Nothing too major I don’t think but it will take just a little longer for it to be done.
So I have this little flash fic anthology where I post random scenes and extended jokes sometimes when I'm bored. This time, instead of bored, I was annoyed at never posting anything. So I took the opening scene I'd written for an old story idea I lost interest in, did some edits, and posted it as a flash piece.

I just didn't have any time today to just sit down, and write. I spent most of my afternoon reading fanfics, browsing DeviantArt, and responding to the many notes, comments, and PM's I received.
Anyway, I feel like I update WAY too often, and that's causing some of you to expect chapter updates every hour. Like, I just got a PM saying, "Hey Crystal, where the heck is the update?"
Hey folks! If you missed the impromptu art stream yesterday, Greenfinger did some new art for one of the earlier chapters of The Iron Horse, specifically chapter 9, "Aerodynamic," in which Turing Test and Rainbow Dash have an aerial race. It takes place near the end of the race when Dash uses her Sonic Rainboom to try and catch up to Turing. It shows Turing in her P-mode. Note the panel on her back, showing where the wings emerged
I’ve literally spent two weeks none stop working on my art with no breaks, till 6 in the morning and waking up in the afternoon groggy as fuck. Coffee is my best friend but...mate, I went through like three jugs of it and I started shaking all over like a mad fucker. Anyways, the chapter is coming along nicely, Im trying to get it to at least 10 thousand words, although the time I'm putting into it is on and off at the moment since I’ve just dealt with a bloody funeral.
