Bookplayer and I were bouncing around some ideas this evening. (Actually, we were talking about which groups in the US it's socially okay to be prejudiced against and which it isn't, but pretend we were being nice people, okay?) Anyway, one thing led to another and we hit on the idea that Zebras should have a deeply entrenched music culture to mirror the African-American contributions to American popular music.
For me it isn't too hard to find a such a song that seeps into mind like these songs. They enchant, mystify, arouse or ascend my soul and I'm left momentarily lost when the music ends. This is the music I use for my Celestia scenes with Norm And a particular scene in the Nymphverse not yet published. I'd thought I'd share you my treasured music, maybe you'll get the same feel in those scenes as I did.
If she ever encountered it, I think Sunset Shimmer would enjoy the British Folk Revival: old Border and Scottish songs about love, war, rebellion, and heartbreak, performed with a mix of traditional and modern instruments. I've even got a playlist, built up with Pandora's help.

Hello everyone. I hope you're all doing well. Just another post to say that I'm working on chapter four of my story. It's about halfway done, but it still might be a week or two. I'm a very slow writer. Heck, these posts usually take me a half-hour or so to finish. Anyway, keep on the lookout for the upcoming chapter, I guess.
I've remixed Nightmare Night (again). I don't plan to continue making music, as this one has been a thing to kick around for the last six months until I finally stopped trying to make it perfect. Now that I'm over and done with music, my channel will become a host for my dramatic readings (which I will make as soon as I'm not sick anymore).

I'm a big fan of DrWolf and MrsWolf. They're both so kind and considerate toward everyone. It's inspiring. So, I wrote an instrumental song just for them. I call it "True Love" because of the relationship that they have. If anyone's interested in listening to what I made, go ahead and check it out!
I love writing my own music, as well as my own stories. So, I'm planning on making more of these in the future.

For a while, since the very end of Season 3 we appeared obligated to get one big musical episode a season. Episodes jam packed with songs for just a single part, all to help the pacing flow. They've definitely produced some of the most memorable songs of the show, but what about the episodes themselves?
