As soon as he opened the closet, an avalanche of eggs came falling down, burying him underneath them. Melody blinked and moved them aside with her magic, slightly shocked.
AKA Emily Anderson. The story plans for Splintershard have her written as "Emily Anderson", but Splintershard, after the first few chapters, uses "Emily Ashton", thanks to me doing some early planning for Pony-Me's reboot at the time. The name just sorta stuck, I guess.
But anyway, let's do this! It's been a little over a month short of a full year since the last OC Spotlight from last December, and with Splintershard on hiatus, I suppose it's high time I talk a bit 'bout Emi.
Basically we can organize all fanfiction stories here into three groups. The first one is for stories with canon characters only, the second one is for stories with both canon and original characters, and the third one is for stories with original characters only. But are stories from the third category popular? Is there any rating or research?

I just don't want to forget updating "Starlight Glimmer's First Student: A Human?!" if I take this new idea up.

A while back I had asked if perhaps I should go through a redesign of my OC, Robipony. This week's question is, what would be a good pony name for Robipony?
Now that I have Gabriela behind me and the zany sequel has yet to form, I think that my next writing project should be to revamp Cutting In before writing a conclusion. The truth is, I adored my LyraBon three-way romance story and feel it could be better!

So, I was trying to write my OC's story again but from what I had written before, it made no sense. So now I'm back to square one and am currently just a little frustrated, cause I have no idea where to start. If any of you have any ideas or advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

You heard me right; I'm writing two new stories. There will be a new Them's Fightin' Herds story with Rarity vs Velvet over a high-quality man. Since Rodeo Rumble is doing well, I figured people would want more of the same. Don't worry about my other works; they will be released and worked on too. The release date will be Oct 15 for the Rarity vs Velvet Story.

Now not only will this blog reveal the last winners of round two, but it will also detail the next challenge that was actually inspired by one of the contestants' stories and an idea that a contestant shared with me. But right now, let's focus on the winners of Round 2
Last time it was revealed that JumpingShinyFrogs, Crescent Blade, and Smaug the Golden were the winners of the round. Joining them is... Wait, breaking news folks!
Due to family reasons, I'm away from my computer and forced to write this with my phone. So I'll keep this short and sweet.
Now I have some good news, as a thank you to those who are still in the competition, you all get a day off tomorrow. But on Monday, it's back to business.
Anyway, here's the results to round 3. Another thing is this round will only have one person eliminated. With that, let's begin.
Courage of the heart has its first chapter finished. after a set back in submitting the story i merged pchapter one and part of chapter 2 together. This had the welcome side effect of making the chapter look more complete and generally made me feel better about the story. for those who actually ready these things (i know at least one will) then you know i don't have a very good track record with my stories and completing them.
So-
I was listening to some audio adaptations of a few fimfics on youtube the other day. It got me to thinking - I already have a comic adaptation of one of my stories. It sure would be nifty to hear somebody read one of them aloud.
Then I thought to myself, you know what? Heck with it. Why not do it myself?
