1,298 words written today, finally finishing the non-diary portion of the chapter. Which now totals 11,076 words.

Feels good to know that's finally done. I'm going to try to get the full diary entry done tomorrow, and then I'll probably take the rest of the day off or something.

Total for April is now 24,540!

Just as expected, tonight was a much smoother night for writing Synchrony - I managed to get 1,061 words written, nearly completing two more scenes! Only like 6 or 7 more to go, so with luck I will be able to finish it sometime next week.

The chapter currently stands at 1,329 words total.

Today was very productive for me, 1,201 words written! The chapter hasn't quite finished, but I am at that point where I know more or less exactly what needs to go down to wrap it up. Meaning it won't be long before I'm starting another chapter of Sunset.

May's word count total is now 12,880! Not long before I'll have earned a day off. Which will probably be spent planning things out.

Sit down and write, Brain.

"Don't wanna. Chimichangas."

I said sit down and write, Brain.

"Don't wanna. Video games. PatchCon. Duel Academy."

You will write if I have to drag you over and sit you down in that chair.

Hey all! Time for a regular status update, just like I said. Sadly, I was only able to write 268 words tonight for Synchrony, but at least I finished the opening scene. Which isn't much, but it's the least straightforward part of the chapter so I'm confident the rest will flow much more smoothly once I get back into the groove of things.

I'm quite happy with the response with #7 so far. Seems the vast majority of you loved it, and I'm tickled pink about that since so much important stuff finally paid off this time around. A few tweaks from the sound of it needed, but nowhere near the rewrites that #5 needed or that #6 is, sadly, still in need of.

Sadly, I haven't quite had time this week for diving into that type of editing.

104 765 words, 454 pages of talking heads.

Compared with the last rough that was 184 838 words slash 743 pages? Still a bit on the heavy side, but an impressive trimming of fat nonetheless.

By now you guys know how my guesses tend to turn out, but I think the rest should take about 80-100 K words, spread over about 6-8 chapters.

So, some good news, bad news time.

I just finished my term of employment a few days ago. Contract was up, and I left with a two-pronged glowing new mark on my CV from both the place I actually worked at and the local government agency that put me there, so it was a year well spent.

The 'problem,' is that I made such an impression, that I'm getting reshuffled into another year-long position ASAP (Tuesday).

Just a quick update to all the guys following me: I'm not dead, I swear! I'm just back in college full-time again, which kinda drains my drive to write smut, as much as I want to. Thankfully, summer is only three weeks away, and I've managed to keep a little bit of the creative juices flowing by throwing my feedback at another writer here for their ongoing story. I've got some fun ideas I want to put to digital paper for your reading pleasure, so see you in the summer!

My recent one (which has now been deleted) was a hate group. It was directed towards Fluttercord, with it being my least favorite ship. I have no excuse for ever making it, accept for letting my anger towards it and the popularity it has control me.

I only got 546 words done today, but that's okay - I finished up chapter 7 of Sunset in Ponyville! And, of course, started the initial editing work on the super-long chapter 6 which I will finish and send off to my proper editor tomorrow.

Another 1,074 words written! I feel better about them than I have some earlier parts in the chapter, so that's good. I also expect to be finished with this chapter tomorrow, which is even better! Which means I should be able to start work on the Synchrony revamp soon...

But for now, my word count total for the month is a solid 12,341. I hope everyone is doing well!

Not only did I finish my initial edits for Sunset in Ponyville 6 and pass the chapter along to Applety, but I also got in a solid 1,117 words for the next chapter of Synchrony as well!

Not much to say today - business as usual more or less, with a further 1,108 words done for Sunset in Ponyville. Still want to come up with a few more artifact ideas, though, but those will come in time.

My current total stands at 17,499! Lol one off of an even 17.5k...
