I've used some things from the one you can find on the internet, some things from D&D 5e, and other places.

Had to do another re-do. Basically I hit the middle point of story two of the Bastion trilogy again and realised one of the characters (specifically Assault, see previous blogs) wasn't working. I'm hoping re-conceptualising it a third (fourth? Might be fifth by now) time will make it stick, and once that's done I can finalise what I have of part 3 and foreshadow it all in part 1, making a cohesive whole.

So... the new story I'm writing is going to be a one-shot fluff piece who's main purpose is to get me to write something and kill this damn writers block that is getting in my way...

I was doing some Googling recently and learned that the typical length of a novel falls in the range of 80,000 ~ 100,000 words. Obviously, this is a highly variable number informed by an infinitely long list of factors, but I liked the tidiness of these figures, and, more importantly, they happened to roughly align with the amount of words I’ve written and posted on this site.

Okay, I tried to sit down and get started on the finish for Princess ♥ Princess - before I realize I had completely forgotten what direction I was going back in May. My notes were only marginally helpful (since I hadn't thought about this one at all since then, unlike the fics I'll get started on once it's done or whatever).
