I'm at work, bored as fuck right? A co-worker of mine suggests a dnd one-off to pass the time. Dude always brings his dice and paper 'cause he's a fuckin' nerd—so am I, but that's beside the point—and I figured, fuck it, place doesn't pick up until like 8 (it was 5 at the time) anyway, so why not. Right?
As I hinted in my previous blog post, I had a story kicking around in my head for Twilight Prime from For Want of a Horseshoe and the local version of Shining Armor giving each other grief. I hint at this encounter in FWoaH, and here it is.

I've been thinking... Thinking about my writing career here on FimFiction. How successful it's been recently, and how much attention I've gained over time. Thinking about all my stories and characters you and I have gained to love. Characters such as Techie, Ninroot, and more. I have been thinking about all the ideas I had that I wasn't able to turn into a reality here on the site due to rules and regulations. Then I begin thinking about so many other creative stories and works I can begin
Well, I've finally cut the cord on something you might call me crazy for.
I'm not going to drink carbonated drinks anymore. At all.
I do have my reasons, and a very good one, but I'm honestly not a fan like I used to be. As much as I love Coke Zero, the damage that stuff can do to you...well, there's a video of it on YouTube. If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out. It's...thought-provoking. Did I mention it has the power to quickly make you switch drink choice to water?

Well the fourth chapter is out! I'm starting the next one now! I hope you guys like them and that everyone seems to fit their characters. I'm trying my best not to change them a lot. You can only change them so much before they're not really themselves anymore.

...I think people care more than they think, or they wouldn't go to such incredible, and stupid lengths to reply about it or mock it.
People still think that my ideas are retarded and un-factual, when really they are not.
You see, I don't just say things out the drop of a hat, I was taught or learned things from other sources, which I use to incorporate them into my fics.

I have often been told that dialogue is one of my strongest areas as a writer. I find this compliment a bit unusual, because dialogue is often one of the areas that I spend the least time on. My dialogue technique involves a lot of instinct and guess work (I suppose a lot of my writing does). There is one area, however, where I did have to learn and research, because I am quite bad at it in real life.
Lying.
School started yesterday. I'm in free period right now. I don't think this year will be too hard. My applications will be done by Halloween. If I get an A in Math, I won't have to take the final exam. AP Psych will only be one semester but spread out throughout the year. English will be my hardest class, but it will be fun.
