Welcome readers, to another installment of Being a Better Writer’s Summer of Cliche Writing Advice! We are rolling right along and into week six of this feature, and the cliche advice just keeps coming.
Chapter 4 has finally been posted. So say hello, everyone, to... On the Trail.
Welcome back readers! In lieu of news, let’s just dive right into things! Over the weekend I ran into quite a few people who had writing questions for me, but one that kept coming up from a wide range of people (after the usual “What have you written”) was “What’s the process of publication like?”

Hiya, pals!
This is your friendly film, TV show, and episode reporter here, clocking in to show you guys another review.
Today, for my 8th "Thanksgiving Treat", I'm gonna be presenting to you guys my review on "Matilda (1996)".
Here's the summary of it:
Don't worry. While I may be stalling on packing for my big, three week trip to visit family, I won't forget to update Shaping Shadow. After all, it is just getting good. I might be a day later or a bit earlier than my normal Tuesday evening releases, but I will guarantee you at least 3 releases by August 10th! At least 3!
We're getting two chapters in one day because the last chapter was so damn pointless.
What a way to open a chapter that we have here! Theresa is being heaped with praise and love and admiration for her plan to create rain around the world. This strikes me personally as very strange, because the last time this happened a drunk from the slums and his family had to build an enormous ark, take two of every animal and ride out the flood without dying of starvation, dehydration, incest, unhygienic conditions, or just plain boredom. You’d think that a devout Catholic like Boutin would
I mean, seriously, the sheer number of Sonic-related media that was released last year is simply ridiculous:
1) The highly anticipated sequel to the surprisingly well-received live-action movie from 2020
2) A new 3D platformer game that features the very first open world of the series
Hi!
It's been a while. But I wanted to let people who were asking (and everyone else) know a neat thing!
Some users may remember that one story I wrote about Nightmare Moon. You know, the one with the melodrama. Well, I'm happy to announce that there is now a new dramatic reading of it by ObabScribbler! Find it over here.
I've been getting requests for my FiM anthology Lovely Darkness, so I'm making it available again. Please read the complex mess below if interested.
As many fans speculated, Book 4 - Duet takes place in the past, specifically in the mid to late 1980s. While I'm excited when HBO Max announced a new season, I lowered my expectations since it focuses on a new set of characters. Usually, there's a guest character in the 7th episode of a season and the next will focus on that certain character. For Book 4, it's a totally different story and timeline.
Hey readers, just a heads up that Hemelein Publishing has opened a submission call for their latest LUTE Benefit Anthology, For Glory and Honor!
Thanks to the work of Flash Frame, you now have a list to go by. Introducing:
By this you will know who may be a target, who may be safe and who you may never see again. She's spent a long, painstaking time to get this together, but I'll let her tell you about it:
A note from the desk of Flash Frame.
"Please, just give yourself up!"
"Why are you doing this? What the hell's going on?"
"We don't have a choice - believe me, if we did, we wouldn't be in this situation!"
"Look, Ari, I can help! I just need to--"
"Sunny, believe me...we were damned a long time ago."
I’ve been meaning to do some more reading. And so, naturally, instead of reading pony stories, for some reason I read a random book I picked out at the public library.
I’m going to climb back on the horse this weekend, though.
Right after I review this book and finish my own story that I’ve been poking at for the last few weeks.
Coming out later in 2016, probably around December
