I've come in contact with an artist that is going to help me with my avatar and book cover. I'm using a piece she did in the meantime until they're done.
I've been working for a small part of the last few weeks to go over and clean up Shadow of Night, but I've been relying on a iPad that a friend had given me to stay in touch while I try to rebuild my life from virtually the ground up. On the heels of last night's post, I'm writing to confirm that the sequel to Taking the Sun will release today, in appoximately three hours. In the previous post I mentioned that I wasn't sure if it would release today or on Saturday, because I wasn't certain if I had all the spit and polish properly applied (I don't typically publish on Fridays). Stitches out today: pus immediately came out of the hole left by the stitches and staples so...nothing did any good.

Still waiting to hear back from the specialist, who will most likely be on Monday. I am hoping that, as they had a similar, chronic, case last year, steriods will be prescribed but I will be ready to take her elsewhere for that CT scan whether or not my insurance will cover it.
