Usually, I find the winter solstice season, or the post winter solstice season, to be rather relaxing. Depending on where I'm employed, things quiet down before or after Christmas, and since 2016, I've had jobs that offer paid time off, for the holidays. For both of the employers that I've had, since 2016, the work load lessens, by Christmas. The winter solstice break of 2018 has probably been my favorite, since it involved two entire weeks off. Day 8 of Cage's 25 Days of Christmas Songs
I just released my first Jinglemas story. I was writing it on Hearth's Warming Day (December 26th) and on December 27th, uploaded it yesterday and gave it another read today to see if everything is right with it. I was able to write it fast and I managed to surpass my usual word count per hour with it. I was surprised about that, after I didn't write much for more than a year.
The update's a bit late tonight, voting was hell. Here's the shuffle, go read that if you want.

Just spent a day at the villa chilling out by the pool. Got a pretty funny video to upload of that event too, providing this shitty tablet will work well enough to let me do so. Also had a surprise visit from the daughter of the woman who married my mom and dad back in 2004 when we came on holiday to America for the first time. Sadly that lady passed away from cancer, but it was lovely to see her daughter, her father, and her stepmom over at our place. We had a nice talk and conversation about

At first, I wasn't sure what Glim Glam and Best Princess were doing here, but then I noticed Glimmy's hat. It's art fom the episode A Hearth's Warming Tale.
I've read Dickens' A Christmas Carol, but it's been years. My favorite movie adaptation is the one starring Patrick Stewart. Scrooged with Bill Murray is also awesome.
