I just started reading a book called The Book of Barely Imagined Beings, which is about animals that are little more obscure in the world of natural history. This mostly involves things like barrel sponges and sea worms and things like that, but the first animal discussed in the book is the axolotl or Mexican Salamander. This passage in particular was quite interesting:
I'm working on a battle scene in a new chapter for Prisoner and Savior and would like to get a second opinion on it.
Chapter 4 of The Danger Within is up. I rather struggled with this one, not least because our weather seems to have forgotten that England isn't supposed to have ice days and blizzards. Still, it's up now, and I'm relieved to have got it done. Note that the [Violence] tag has now been added -- nothing much for now, but it's there. Onward to chapter 5 I go!
Look, I know I said I wanted to finish Crystal Princess before I started on the sequel to the other division of the timeline...
But I know that once I get this finished commission either tonight or tomorrow my hype is going to shoot up to "💯👆💯👆💯👆" levels, and you don't really contain it at that point.
So my question is, if I update both at the same time, will you guys get too confused?
And you know what that means...
I think part of my problem is I have a fear of first drafts. I don't know what they look like, and I try to skip them entirely. I don't suppose any of you can point me towards some collection of first drafts alongside their completed states, can you?

Curiously enough -- or perhaps not -- I feel more motivated to create Pony stuff now than I have done in a long time. And since my art looks like the meanderings of a half-dead, half-drunk centipede and my singing is only permitted to be revealed in public at convention karaoke sessions, that means
Have you ever wanted to write and post a story on here cause you’ve hyper fixated on the topic, but the group/universe hasn’t been active for a while, the main story hasn’t been active for a long while, plus it adds something that’s way outta left field?

I recently finished up a nice big pony x human story: Giant Pony And Human Love Notes. It was great fun to work alongside my co-writer primortal. This story was meant to be a one-chapter story, but it got expanded into three chapters.
So some time has gone by and I've been thinking about my next course of action and this is what I decided
I keep spreading myself too thick with all the fanbases I am currently in and I'm planning on choosing to select a few choice fanbases and make them my main priority (with this being one of them because I have this account and wanna use it).
I’ve often blogged here that I like stories with meaning, stories that are about something, and that I detest the post-modern disavowal of such stories. But, after reading a book full of stories that were all about something, I’ve come to understand the distaste for them. Too many writers think of their stories as ways to communicate their themes. This leads to boring stories, even when great writers do it.
Every time I say I don't have time to write extra stories or chapters I end up doing them anyway!
I wonder if it's psychological- saying I'm not going to do something takes the pressure off and lo and behold, I start rocketing off the horse-words.
So yeah, I've started the Eternal Sunshine crossover fic.
This is an edited summary of my full post on Louder Yay, since some of that deals with things that aren't really relevant on Fimfiction. (Though yes, Ponyfic Roundup will continue to appear there every Wednesday, and to be summarised here every five issues.) So read the LY post for the full story if you wish. But still, here's a quick round-up of ponyfic past and future as far as I'm concerned.
It's... coming along. No, really it is. I have, right here on this PC, a good deal of my next fic. It's a Dash-centric fic with a racing theme to it, so in the wake of "The Cart Before the Ponies" I've had to stop and consider how [Alternate Universe] it actually needs to be. I already have well over 1,000 words done and, me being me, that's likely to be more than half of the eventual total. I have no idea when it will appear, but it will appear at some point.
Well, it seems my latest story is going well, i'm happy for the support I've gotten, thank you. 
And not to worry, this chapter is the last one of the first day, last chapter of the introductions, we get into their days together and the beginnings of transformations in a few chapters. Just want him to get used to their pony form first. 
I know, me... Bendy is not the best of writers out there. I often write really dumb stories with poor grammar, robotic dialogue, or whatever. Yet somehow, I managed to get a rather large following here on fimfiction even though I'm a trash writer.
With all that said, what am I good at in my writing? I like to hear your point of view on the matter, my followers.
