Look I know the contest ended more than a week ago, I'm sorry, I originally wanted to announce the winner when the artist got finished, but he still hasn't got back to my message yet. Anyway, the winner is Twilight vs. Indigo Frost in the Wasteland of God's Blood. Really this was rather surprising to me, I'll get to the reasons as to why when the art piece comes out. It should be any day now. I order the Commision from EZTP. I found him through a friend and we got to talking. He likes my idea,
Square Enix won! Kingdom Hearts III looks so amazing! They are definitely the winners of E3! Woo hoo! Check this game footage out here!
And this just goes to show how much effort Square Enix has been putting into this game. It looks so amazing! I think that any of you who played or do play this game are just as excited as I am! And again, Square Enix won E3 hands down with this game!
I've been thinking... I haven't made a contest blog, well, aside from voting blogs but I don't think those count. So, for those interested, let me explain the contest.
Wow... Ok guys, I've been looking over these entries and...
I don't know how I'm going to pick any winners.
All of these are really good in their own way. I feel like I might just scrap the "single-winner" concept of a contest and go with an "everypony wins" type ending here. Honestly, everypony worked hard, and I actually like those sorts of scenarios better, but I'll have to figure out what I'm going to do to make that meaningful at some point...
I have read every story. I have judged them all. And now... it is time for the results.
Let's begin with the odd awards!
Good Story, But Not The Deepest
The artist of the Twilight's Dollhouse comic had a great idea of a contest we could do so that more people see the comic, or the story if they want to spoil the rest of the comic.
Alright everyone, thank you again for participating, now to announce the winners!
The 2 winners out of 12 are:
King Thorax submitted by duckmagee!
&
Manta the renegade changeling OC submitted by Cryohawk! (A quick last second change)
Since this was a solo pre-challenge, I'll present each submission in no real order.
Coalstone's Submission:
Coalstone now found himself in what could best be described as a completely empty black void and was now wishing greatly he understood just what the hell the challenge was he was asked to perform.
...
Ah, just click and read. I'm lazy today.
That night Gob turned Coalstone into an infant, he had decided to turn in early. Feeling quite tired after that day of doing nothing but pranking his stone cutting contestant. Gob snuggled into his levitating bed and almost fell right asleep until remembering a very important detail.
We made it.
Tis the winner's cerimony of the first ever, OCHG tournament! I can not be any happier than I am now to reveal the winner of the Games. Before we announce who the winner is, let's do a short recap.
Okidok, at around the same time me and the other admins of HazMat wrapped up our own contest, the results of the EFNW Scribblefest also arrived. There was only one story that got a winning category that I didn't read (the Twilight award, which interestingly was the one I figured two other stories would have a shot at winning) so I can say with pretty reasonable confidence that I'm happy with all the winning entries (even the poem one. I still hate poetry with a vengeance, though, but I do think
And the winner of the poll in the last blog post is.........
JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURES!
So yeah, look for a lot of muscular men, bizarre powers, and "NANI!?" in arc 4. Hope you enjoy!
-GM, master of the work of your enemy's stand.
Secret Moon's Self-Isolation Contest 2020
*WINNER*
Well, I guess now I can officially put "Award-Winning Writer" on my business cards without getting in trouble with the trading standards people.
....Excuse me a moment.
Last time, on the OC Apprentice. The two finalists: Coalstone and Reneigah discovered presents on their beds from Gob. Here, they open them.
Now, I present, part one of the OC Apprentice Finale!
Hello everyone! Thanks for your patience- I've just released the results of my CuddleFic Contest, which can be found HERE.
If you're looking for some of the best, new snuggle horsewords on the internet, I suggest you take a look!
"Pleasure doing business with you, Mr. McMahon, I'll see to it your company is in GOOD hands... Right, sorry, half the company is in GOOD hands." Gob smiled with triumph as he thought about his recent deal and success. It would be a very wonderful surprise to the finalists of the OCA. Gob leaned back in his leather chair and sighed a satisfied breath of air. Suddenly, he heard a knock at the door.
Now you may be wondering, why a story GOB? Well, short answer is I wanted to make this one a memorable one. Hope you all enjoy.
"Don't you ever touch me again you fluffy animal..." GOB grumbled as he watched Coalstone comprehend his predicament.
"Alright, alright, I got it!" Sentinel called out, gaining GOB's and the rest of the players attention.
"Well go on then, lad." GOB said with a smile. He noticed Coalstone struggling to tame his now fluffy fur as Nova fell onto his back and laughed at the stone cutter. This brought a smile to GOB's face.
