Alright, ladies and gents, here's Chapter 4 of The Fumble, written by yours truly! Finally.

Getting out of the funk of not writing, and me and the team are making progress with the story. Expect chapters to be posted much more frequently from me as we crank out more and more story-tellin' gold!

Since I had nothing better to do today- taking care of dogs and dealing with children et cetera, et cetera. I have decided that the update schedule for my story will probably need to have a basic idea of when stuff's coming out.

Mostly cause regular updates is nice and regular, mostly on schedule updates is nicer. Also since random holidays interfere with my writing almost entirely and yet most of the time I can eke out 500-preferably 1000 words just fine I need some kind of schedule.

Next chapter of Pony-Me, the next real chapter, will be releasing sometime within the next few days. I'm nearly done with it, and the April Fools chapter that went up hours ago was just kinda stuffed in for the sake of April Fools.

Either way, tonight I'm gonna revert everything on my account that I changed, and everything should be back to normal.

So, good news.

I think with the rate things are going now, I should not be far off mark with the ending. So it will not be done by the 24th, or the 25th, but It will be done by the New Years. I imagine we are going for 10 chapters, maybe 11, then an epilogue.

I will try to keep up momentum, already pre writing tomorrow's chapter, but obviously I will be busy tomorrow, but I will do my best to release it tomorrow.

Thanks so much for all the interest in Cypress Zero. I’m really happy to have this entirely completed and good to go for publishing. For me, writing a story that I can read and enjoy for my own self has been difficult, and this is my only fic of this scale that achieves that: it really ramps up and starts paying off at the halfway point. After much contemplation, I decided to release the epilogue to The Runaway Bodyguard on Saturday Jan 8th. I will release the first installment of the sequel, The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers REMASTERED, at the same time. It says REMASTERED for a reason and you should read it instead of the original. (You might call it a glow up.)

1. Stick to the "screw it, I publish as I write" schedule from the old Pony-Me that gave me plenty of leeway for writing and editing
2. Go with a weekly update schedule like Splintershard, meaning (mostly) guaranteed new chapters every week, and then a month-long hiatus every 2-3 months

Special thanks to my editor AP to getting to this one early. I basically had this chapter done and ready for his eyes last Satuday (JST). Had a few uneventful days here in Japan and filled that time with enough horse word editing to give myself a stress headache from not giving myself any downtime. Anytime I stopped writing, I still felt like writing. Is that what work-a-holism feels like? Never had that happen before.
