Man, I'm going through these chapters and I am finding it very hard to read them. Seriously, how do you guys find this as good literature.
Anyway, I have revised chapters four, five and six. Take a look, they should be much better and cleaner. Enjoy guys!

Now that the contest is well over, I have revised this story, which I hope will better express my vague intentions as I was composing it. The original version has been preserved, along with its comments.
I've added a few key sentences to the fourth paragraph of the last chapter. The story was missing an explicit description of why The Price was significant, and I think this makes the meaning of the story much clearer.
So, I started my revisions on When the Wall Breaks Down, but I've run into an issue: chapter two sucks ass. there aren't any major flaws in the chapter that I can find. In fact, it was one of the better edited chapters I've had to revise ever! But Jesus, man... it's just painful to read. So, temporarily, I will be putting a few other projects on hold until i can write up a better second chapter.

After some rereading of my fic Sunsong. I realized that my writing had been rushed back then, very rushed. So now that I have (slightly) more time to write nowaday, I'm planning on rewriting both of my fics starting with Sunsong. So the chapters are going to either be taken down all at once or one at a time to be looked over and rewritten. As well as the fic's storyboard adjusted to account for new MLP and new Destiny lore. That feeling you get when you have a story completed, proofread, edited, and generally have pulled together a consensus it's ready to publish, ready to send out into the world to be seen and read by the anonymous masses...
Then you sit down with the doc open in one tab, the web form open in another, and start getting ready to copy it over, chapter by chapter...

Bathroomstahl and I have begun work on editing "The Monster Below" to get it ready for publication. As detailed in a previous blog, this is to clean the manuscript up by fixing any grammar and punctuation errors, tightening and condensing sections by removing redundant information, and generally bringing the quality of the writing up to date with what I've learned since the book was first posted.
With the hurricane madness over, it's time to get back onto Displaced into Nothing. To get myself back into the story and remember what's been said already, I've decided to do that revision I was talking about in one quick binge. To prepare for that, I've written another blog post of advice to gather my thoughts on what I'm doing...
I am so sorry about the long wait everypony. This has been one of those summers. (That plus as many of you know, I was working on another story for a contest.) But chapter 14 has been edited, is back up and ready for you to read again! Not 'too' much changed, took out the clop scene and added a feeding scene instead, but besides that and a few minor little fixes and a lot shorter.
God, these revisions are fun. Make sure to check out the revised versions of Chapters 8-11, as well as the next three in Chapters 12-14 in the coming week. I plan on having these done within 10 days, so we can get back to the current adventure.
On the real, these revisions are tanking my sleep. Jeez, it's like over a thousand, two thousand words added on, more context being put in because it makes sense! And with rereading the early comments of this book, dang...yeah it was bad.

Stories have flaws. That's just a fact of life. That said, I feel like Crime Pays was pretty solid. Sure it was bumpy, particularly around the latter third of the story, but I'm overall quite proud of it. That doesn't mean I couldn't have done it better, mind you, and I'd like to know how I could have done just that. Whathe bits of the story did you not care for? Where do you think I dropped the ball? There are three things in particular I'm concerned about.

what I'm doing is pulling the breaks on the story's progression to rework the current chapters to fix the slew of continuity errors as well adjustments here and there that just kept popping up as I went along with the story.
