I've read fics were Sunset has pets, but she already had them at the start of the fic and they weren't much of a focus. I'm reading an incomplete fic that looks like she may adopt a dog, but it looks like more of a Chekhov's gun than anything really.

After 14 years of memories and joy, my Yellow Lab was put down today. Rest well, buddy. I loved you with every ounce of my being. You were the light of my life.

As of this morning, our family dog Pumba passed away.

I've cried over almost all the pets we have lost in this family but I didn't cry over his. I honestly thought he'd be too stubborn to die but now that he's gone I feel nothing.

Hey guys I got some bad news. Yesterday our Bassett Hound, Arfer, got out from our backyard and we have a pond not far from it. Due to the weather it froze over nearly solid in some places but with how warm its been getting it became to thin in others. Surprisingly OK show for such a goofy premise.

Don't think I'm a fan myself, not yet at least, but I can see the appeal. Reminds me a bit of that live-action Disney movie about the alien talking cat, just minus the telekinesis and only one person nearby that can understand.

And I loved that movie when I was a kid. Still have a soft spot for it, despite never being able to remember the name.

I was thinking about this a while and it is true. She seems to even want to be a pet! She would be a good cuddle buddy. Not to mention she makes great looking sandwiches... I want a pet Fluttershy.

Just thought I'd give you a heads-up that the next chapters of "The Human Pet" and "The Man In The Moon"(27 and 3, respectively), will be the last ones until September at least. Not only am I gonna be relaxing, but I've also got a summer job and I've been itching to try my hand at writing something original, so I've really got no time for this, at least not now.
