I have an idea for a story. I think it's interesting, but not quite my style. So I'm posting it here in case someone else would like to give it a try.
This idea is based on South Park: The Fractured But Whole, would be a bit of a crossover, and contains spoilers for it.
"Life isn't some cartoon musical where you can sing a little song and your insipid dreams will magically come true! So let it go." - Chief Bogo from Zootopia
"You can't just make everything better by singing some stupid song!" - Spinel from Steven Universe: The Movie
"Not everything can be solved with a good attitude and a dope music soundtrack." - Willow Park from The Owl House
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
And I don't regret it now.
I'm neutral on the original version of the song, but holy cow I'll defend the remix of this song in public.
I should try to capture that songfeel in horse words, but I'm not totally sure on where to begin.
Happy Holidays, folks. Here's to writing things worth reading.

Oh boy, today was a day. Rather than give you a long, ranty blogpost about the two delightful comebacks I got to work on (one which had a failure which had nothing to do with what I'd fixed on the car previously and the other which had a recurrence of an issue that the customer had chosen not to repair the last time we saw it) or discuss the Ford Ranger that I'm diagnosing for a no-start (in the case of this Ranger, no-start is in everyone's best interest, because then the owner can't drive it

Hey, it's been over a year since I wrote a con blog post.
Well, not if you count the very late SeaquestriaFest blog post.
So let's talk about Ponyville Ciderfest while it's still fresh in my mind.

I am late with this (ten days late, to be precise), because I spent October 10th with personal celebrations and then had to focus on writing a lot to catch up on projects that see a coronated delay this year. But I still wanted to write a little bit about the big anniversaries. That only feels right to do and it would feel wrong not to write down some words about them.
Good day one and all! Not a great deal to report here but I felt like chatting about The Lost Ponies: Jurassic Park for a bit.
*sighs*
Guys... I am so sorry. But I'm afraid Detective Rarity and the Haunted Carousel is going to be cancelled. I know you all were probably expecting more but... I'm sorry, I just can't do it.
The story is just a blatant retelling of the original game and I know I'm better than that.
Sooner or later, Sweetsong has to get over the mountains if she wants to keep going west. It’s a mixed blessing; while she’s past the speedy railroad mainlines of the Midwest, now she’s got more scenery and fewer people who might spot her.
Having been on that route myself, I can say that it’s gorgeous.
A mare can’t stay in one place forever, even Seattle. It’s time for Sweetsong to find another train and keep heading west—the ocean is calling.
After I made those last three crossover videos not too long ago, I frequently brainstormed what I wanted to have MLP (G5) crossover with next. As I carefully considered the options, it occurred to me that a video showing the Main 5 getting scared by a compsognathus from the "Jurassic" franchise would be an awesome thing to create, and it seemed like it'd be really fun too. So, I used a clip featuring a compsognathus from "Jurassic Park: The Lost World" and mixed it in with moments of the Main 5
