I did it! Whew! Sure, it took three months, a stroke of luck and a job fair or two, but I finally snagged a job

It's nothing glamorous, just a minimum starting-wage job giving surveys over the phone, but it has a tiered pay system where I get a raise whenever I work a certain number of hours, and after 100 hours, I can work from home! Meaning I could eliminate the cost of gas going to and from work

As you can see on the title, I've gotten a new job, yay! Problem is, I'm still getting used to it, boo!

I'm up before five AM in the morning, and I'm doing some work I don't have much experience in. It is very physical, and I'm almost up and walking 20,000 steps a day, not counting everything I carry, pack, and move around.

MY JOB COACH GOT ME MY JOB BACK.

Meijer HR and management admitted that they did not go through the proper channels and proceedure when they dismissed me, because they DIDN'T TELL MY JOB COACH ABOUT THE ISSUES THEY HAD WITH MY PERFORMANCE AT WORK.

They did mention an unauthorized 30-min break I took, which I don't remember happening, but they did give me a few caveats upon returning.

I'm working at the Morrisons Supermarket in the next town.
Here's hoping it gives me a new lease on life and some sense of financial independence.

Just a general update. I've started a new job, but being an IT developer for a large bank means that the standards are much stricter and I can't Skype from it. So earlier this week my immediate superior told me they couldn’t keep me after April 20, have yet to get the papers in the mail with the specifics, and thus all my activities will likely be coming to a halt by the 10th as I prep for what comes ahead.
