3,000 words later, I realized it didn't actually count as a piece of microfiction at that point. And that's not including all the alternate endings that I wrote because I couldn't quite decide how to end it.

I have noticed that a month has passed since I last updated something. More than a month, actually.

I'm alive and kicking, everyone. Just... the recent time has not been kind to my writing. I'm persevering the best I can, but the progress is very slow.

Rest assured, I'm still alive. I've just been performing some housekeeping: I finally can get rid of Windows 8 everywhere--now I'm just working on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. Even so, I've still had to reinstall all my apps (still needed to do that last week), as I got a great Google Drive client on the Windows Store with "native" Google Docs integration--sure, it's just the embedded Google Docs editor page, but it's good enough for me.

Well I am working at Home Depot, and am also starting work at Best Buy. Both are part time jobs, but with the hours, I may have to drop one or the other, depending on how much it impacts my time with my family/sleep schedule.

So I went to bed with a rather annoying headache (yay family issues), but did eventually get sleep in (a legitimate yay for Nyquil!). However, before that, I found myself writing and actually getting stuff done, all while listening to some music. Great. The one time I do actually progress on things is when my head is bothering me. I'm trying fo finish the next chapter for my warhammer series but I've grinded to a halt. anyone care to lend a hoof?

I can't believe that I will be writing a love story about an Otaku that falls in love with something that isn't an anime character. It'll also be my first attempt at writing a 1 person POV story, so this will be a new experience for me.
