Well, thanks to scheduling quirks, early releases, whatever you wanna blame, a whole bunch of countries will be airing (or have already aired) the Season 8 finale before Discovery Family gets a chance to do so.

Well, the early airings have come to an end (temporarily it would seem), China was supposed to air Episodes 21 and 22 this weekend but aired "Rainbow Roadtrip" instead. Apparently this is just a one off thing and the early airings will resume as scheduled next weekend, but until I know for sure I'm not holding my breath. In my scoring system, two of the four elements which contribute to the episode's rating are theme and characterization. These are both essential elements of a great episode, but they're meaningless if the episode can't entertain all the way through. Well, Season 5 is winding down, and with the penultimate episode of the season, we have Amy Keating Rogers' swan song. This season, she has given us "The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone" our first PinkieDash episode since Season 1, which also redeemed Gilda, "Canterlot Boutique" which furthered Rarity's character arc and introduced us to Sassy Saddles, and the mind blowing musical that was "Crusaders of The Lost Mark" which redeemed Diamond Tiara and gave the CMC their cutie
Well, that happened.
I don't know if there are any words that can describe just how mind blowing and amazing this episode is! If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out!
Ugh, didn't we just do this? Episode-movie-episode makes me forget the tribulations of MID SEASON HIATUS. D: And Made in Manehattan, I didn't even watch a third time (mostly because Friendship Games was airing in its place). I need to readjust the bottom of my list, I think. Something I didn't make a huge deal about with regards to Rarity Investigates is Rainbow Dash flying with the Wonderbolts. I mean, she starts off being "the lucky reserve", and she doesn't actually fly, but that still means she's in the Wonderbolts reserves. She's practically on the team! Her dreams are coming true! For all that I was bitching about her being worst pony and all, I'm really glad she's made these big strides towards what she wants to do. Not to mention
