I did some soul-searching, and I realize the problem with The Mane Attraction is Coloratura. She's got Princess Cadence Syndrome. Here, let me show you what I mean.

Me: "Hey, who's this Princess Cadence supposed to be? Why should I care about her?"

Hello there. Another week another episode. This time we see the Crusaders building carts to ride in a derby. However, it doesn't go to plan when they ask their family (honorary and real) for help. This episode resonated quite a bit with me. One of the most promising changes made in season 5 was the Cutie Mark Crusaders finally acquiring their cutie marks. Although the trio had already been shifting towards more varied episodes after two seasons of grating repetition, gaining these cutie marks not only put an end to their most significant character arcs, the exact nature of these marks also paved the way for new stories, as the trio consecutively gained cutie marks which showcased how they applied their passion for cutie marks into

While I do enjoy the Cutie Remark, I do think the episode needed a better ending. So here's a thought:

When Twilight and Starlight land in the Crystal War timeline, King Sombra's forces actually manage to kidnap Starlight (he detected two very powerful magic users in the vicinity and became interested). He learns she's a time traveler and wants the spell. Starlight refuses to hoof it over, but Sombra keeps her contained and unable to cast. He's going to rip it from her, one way or another.

While the CMC shined pretty well this season, I think it's safe to say that their group dynamic has gotten a tad bit stale. Individually we have a good sense of their personalities, but they seldom seem to be at odds over the problem facing them. I already made this list once before, after Season 6 ended, but there are a few changes that I felt warranted a revisiting of this list (the reason why I didn't touch the CMC or the princesses in ranking here, is because none of my opinions on them

In Harvest Blaze, I'm at a bit of an impasse. It's a minor thing, but it's part of the story, and I'm not sure what to do. I think its insignificance is actually making it harder, as I can't use the situation to determine the who and where. I need two ponies and a location for the map quest. As I am now about two weeks away from graduation, I have started updating The Alicorn Cutie Mark. All chapters have been pulled for revision and I am hoping to have a new, revised chapter posted by June. New image added, which I feel suits the story better, especially for where I am thinking the story might go after the revision. Will possibly alter the description of what the story is about, but will figure that out when I get to posting the new chapter.
