When writing The Rock Farmer's Daughters, I didn't initially plan for this character to pop up. But then Igneous mentioned his sister in a chapter, and I decided, "Imma make that sister." And she was a well-received character, both on this site and FanFiction.net.
Now, let's get to Seddie's history!
This lovely grandmother has been helping her daughter Violet Verses raise Bluejinx from the time he was five. Being his primary caretaker while his mother worked, Navy was always fascinating him with her tales of adventures she had on the high seas.
How do ponies even play basketball? I've seen a couple of basketball cutie marks, so it has to exist in Equestria...

Okay, no, it's not my birthday (mine's in August). It's actually the birthday I designated for one of my OCs.

Let me present to you the douchebag of 2016! It’s almost March and he’s already taken that title quicker than Cortland did during 2014 and Kazam did during 2015.
Hey, guys! I’ve returned from Southern Utah, and I’m going to prepare a nice little journal telling you all about it. In the meantime, I managed to finish this thing for our next Birthday Girl: Bell Pepper!
Does anyone else find it funny that the Bio after the outlaw’s is that of a cop?

You know, today’s focus being on some peasant farmer from olden time would be odd, given that’s not the usual focus unless they’re about to become some important knight or King Arthur or something. Wheat Harvest doesn’t become anything like that—he was just a farmer, and later a solider fighting in a war that nopony really knew was for.
I did initially have her birthday be October 30th, but I wasn’t really feeling well that weekend, so I rescheduled it (but I sure as heck wasn’t going to skip out on Wayer Rune’s bio on Halloween—good thing I was feeling better when I wrote that one!).
And a Merry Christmas Eve to you guys! Wow, time sure does fly when you’re having fun throughout the year, and it’s especially fast at Christmastime. Weird, it used to take absolutely forever when I was a little kid, and now I don’t have time to properly enjoy the holiday like I used to.
Gosh, she looks like she’s singing some sort of song that people would think is from Disney but is more of an annoying parody that makes me want to cover my ears and scream because I absolutely love actual Disney songs and the movies they’re from and I’m excited for Moana to come out and—ahem.
Hey, look, it's that mother of Cortland that didn't really have a big role in The Rock Farmer's Daughters, having made that dinner the Apples shared with the Pies and was mentioned to be a gossipy hen.

You know, that makes me wonder if she might have been accidentally making the rumor problem worse in the background.
This image is of a young Panini because it would be unfair to show her old when her husband's picture shows him young. It's the only reason really, as a picture of her as an old teacher would've worked just as well (need to draw her old, too--the sketch I have in one of my notebooks has her as an adorable old mare hugging little toddler Cheese Sandwich).
His adult design makes me think of a mix of one of my cousins and an uncle we share.
If they had planes in Equestria, Buddy here would be all over them. Anything to get into the air!
In case anyone’s confused, no, he doesn’t wear glasses—he just needs eyegear when up in his balloon because, you know, weather. Must be a windy day there.

Two weeks after the eldest CheesePie kiddos, we hop to the youngest, for the simple reason of her birthday being in March (Berry’s isn’t until July, and Rocky’s is in November). Shall we delve deeper into the history of this lanky and aerodynamic pegasus?

When I was nearly finished drawing this picture, I realized that I was drawing a grandparent character without drawing them how they look when they're, well, old. Oopsie. 
But I didn't want to waste this beauty, so remind me to draw old!Beans sometime in the future.
The most frustrating thing about this family is that in real life American Society, March and Honeysuckle’s arrangement of the husband in the military and the wife running an inn wouldn’t work, thanks to those frequent relocations that happen to military families.
