How did you guys like the shorter chapter? I would've folded it in with one of the chapters on either end but it just quite fit. Plus, it's been awhile since Twilight has had the spotlight. How about shorter Author's Notes? Not that anyone reads these, of course. I could probably spoil the whole ending and no one would notice. MAYBE I ALREADY HAVE.

This is one of my favorite chapters. Daring Do and the Lost Tome of Shadows is starting to encompass all the qualities I love about a good adventure story, and then some: danger, excitement, drama, and magic.
Also butt jokes. Goddamn I love butt jokes.

I’m nervous. I’m really nervous. Not about Chapter 14 — that’s easy. Slam Dunk. Straight Value. I’m scared because I’m not finished Chapter 15 and I’ve only got a month left. It’s gotta be good. It’s gotta carry its weight. It’s gotta follow Chapter 14 — a tough requirement if ever — and I’m not sure that it does, yet.
So, yeah. Nervous. This is crunch time.

I was indeed featured on EquestriaDaily! Whee! And I got almost 300 views that day alone. If you’re publishing MLP fiction and want to reach a wide audience, EqD is the way to go. Just be sure to be patient with the feedback process—they get a lot of submissions and they have high standards. For reference, I submitted back on the first of August (it’s nearly October now.)

So the next chapter is basically a rehash of the start of the rainbow rocks film, although it may take a bit longer than normal for me to update because I am going to be figuring out possible reasons and fillers for plot holes that had been left in the movie. (the dazzlings being 1000s of years old and yet looking like teens for example) as well as some other things.
I am very sad to report that my Uncle Lee's daughter Brandy passed away last night due to complications with MS, leaving behind three children.
So as most have seen i have not really added anything for about a year if not more. I have had so much go in that I lost the spark for my writing. Its not just writing, MLP had lost its luster as well yet its to a lesser extent. I would love to continue my stories, I just have had so much happen that its not on the top of my list. This being said. I will be finishing what I have started and this means the unfinished stories that are laying around my page. Maybe a few that I never got to
Chapter 2 finally got uploaded! Sorry it took a while, you know how life gets. Future updates should hopefully be a little faster.
IN WHICH… WAIT, WHAT?!
I have a habit of being always wrong. I assumed AMDQ would land with a soft thud because of its weird upload time and being 9,500 words long. Instead, you nutcases sent it straight to the Featured Box, making it my first story to be Featured even with "View Mature" turned on. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! More past the jump.
Okay, whew. Let's just start by saying I never in my life expected this story to get so long or so in depth. I never expected it to use a bunch of old ideas and combine them into something new. I just hope the sequel will be as satisfying when I'm done with it.
Happy Easter to everybody. I hope you guys are having a better day than I am.
My family is always a shit show. I mean, it's like a guarantee. But I always hope that we can have a normal holiday for once. But, obviously, that doesn't happen much. Today is no exception.
The first person has a few literary shortcomings, but I think it helped this chapter. The colt is necessarily stuck narrating within his headspace, but he should grow out of it as he learns to speak. (Chapter 7 should start that.)
