Correction: they still have some intel macs that'll stick around for a bit longer. There's still a few more planned.

Well, it's been over four and a half years since the original, and the site has rearranged a little in the past few months (I don't know when I checked it last: maybe around summer?), so I've decided to update the blog and re-post the information as well.
As the title implies, this story involves The Apple Sibling's deceased parents, a classic car from 1955, Apple Bloom and a four-wheeled tribute to the love of her parents.
This was written this morning because I had the idea knocking around and I wanted to put it out there just because. Don't expect regular story releases, this is only a one-off. It might happen now and again, but never daily or anything like that.
Applejack has always been my least favorite of the main six, but it was hard to say exactly why. After a while I realized a big part of my problem with Applejack was how she talks. She sounds like a Canadian voice actress trying to mimic what she's heard on episodes of Hee Haw. Nobody talks like that. I grew up on a ranch here in Texas, and we didn't talk like that. Now, I can't rightly convey an accent in text, but I can give a few authentic suggestions for those of you wanting to write
I just want to make sure you know I didn't drop off the face of the Earth again. I recalibrated my navigation equipment, so that shouldn't happen anymore. I figure blogging regularly will help, too, so I'm doing that. Kind of.
I was about to publish it when I remembered that there seems to be a huge difference in the popularity of chapters I put out depending on the time of day. The optimal time seems to be about 8:00 a.m. PST. Right now is close to the least optimal time. I know I said it would take me an extra week at most to get it out, but I forgot about this until it was too late, and I'd really, really prefer to stick with what I know works here. So please bear with me.
Okay, this is long overdue. I have finally posted the promised extra chapter for John Honeycrisp Apple. More discussion after the page break.
I'm sure no one is surprised that I'm commenting on today's episode. I enjoyed it, but it does put a wrinkle in "Applejack Fixes Everything," in which Big Mac is taciturn as a colt. It might be for the best that he won't play as big of a part after Chapter 4, which is about 90% finished, by the way. So do you think people will still want to read this fanfic now that we know that Past Big Mac was a jabberjaws?
My first tale was a hit!
Now I'm just bucking around on it.
Planning on finishing up the mane six, chatting with scootaloo about her homeless problem.
After that I can do a few things.
Continue with it and add other ponies.
Or end it and start on something else, like a new adventure about Lyra perhaps?
Let me know what you guys rather see.
I arranged this. Go me. The BBC Micro doesn't have the sound capabilities of the Commodore 64, and there are some serious limitations in terms of tempo and pitch range. (That's why this is a bit too fast.) Nevertheless, it is at least recognisable, so I'm going to inflict it on you. Fillies and gentlecolts, the BronyBeeb version of "Apples to the Core" is right here:
Hello, my fellow bronies~<3 I'm posting this blog because I need advice. Am I doing anything wrong with my story? I've noticed two downvotes out of 12, and I'd like to speak to the minority for a minute. What do YOU want to see from me? I'd love to improve so that you're satisfied.
I'm writing a new story for someone that will be separate from the "Where The Apples Grow" universe. Also, expect to see some side stories that are within the Apple universe. They'll be like fun little events with hints of future events. Probably, maybe, possibly.
In Ponyville Rarity has been murdered. Applejack took in Sweetie Belle, but Sweetie Belle wonders, who did it and why in my new fan fiction.

I'm entering a AppleDash Contest.
So I need to brush up on everything Apples, and I have to learn it fast.
I've been speed eating apples all day!
My ice cream is now Applesauce, and I fear I might have given my cat cider.
Now I must go outside for a run, need to talk to the soil of the local apple orchard...
Hello, everybody! Time to talk about the next chapter of John Honeycrisp Apple!
Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
Good news! The last chapter of "Pride of the Apples" is finished, and I would like to put it through some pre-readers before I post it.
The bad news: I'll only take three pre-readers this way, so it's first come, first served.
So, if you've read the whole story so far and want to help out/get a sneak peek at the final chapter, post here, and I'll PM you a link. It's on comment mode, so point out whatever you think is amiss.
I just kicked writer's block's butt! I actually spent the entire day writing! And it was the best day I've had in months!
At the start of the day, I had about 800 words written. As of right now, I have finished the first draft of the rewrite of chapter 2!
And this isn't just a rehash of what originally happened in chapter 2. This version is way better! That's why I rewrote it! Stuff actually happens now!
